Does anyone know if the boot part can be removed. I have a broken right ankle & need to work out how to remove outer cloth boot to get to the joint to superglue. I can feel the broken part under the boot but can't get to it. Any help would be appreciated.

Here's one of the posts on the subject!

Yes Mag, you can easily remove the boot. It fits over the leg by two rectangular tabs: SO BE CAREFUL NOT TO EXERT ROTATION BUT ONLY TRANSLATION WHEN YOU REMOVE IT!

After that, you can see the damage or not.
If you have to reposition the fabric of the boot, you can access it by removing gently the sole.

Sadly, I don't understand all of it.

Especially this part: "It fits over the leg by two rectangular tabs."


Not sure about "translation" either.
