I am loyal to Lootenttoys as my seller but I am just curious.

hi this is my first one from this seller ,hes seems like a stand up guy ,no fuss just does what he says he will do ,that goes a long way in my book ,i had some figures sent from the states and the guy marked down $30 value ,but didnt mark it as a gift ,i ended up paying duty not only on the figures $100 ,but on the EMS postage fee $45 as well ,£33 down the gurgler ,heres the time line of my transaction Parcel tracking details

hi i dont mind at all ,thor $199 plus EMS $60 $259 in total ,regular postage was $45 to the uk ,but i just coudnt wait

Finally canceled the PO on this & Odin from SSC. Not sure if it was sold out but hopefully some Freak will get a wait list conversion

That seems to be quite common lately. Give it a few months and all that will be left is a load on ebay at steadily increasing prices.

A few reasons really.

The face expression bothers me a lot, as does the hair sculpt. I'm also not a big fan of the sleeves being wrinkled, thought they would be done differently. And yes, I'm assuming an Avengers Thor will release that will be improved that I may pick up, but if not I'll double back for this pair if I feel I must have them, which atm I do not.

I do like the overall figure but I do have the PF on PO, as well as a ton of other things so something had to give. I liked everything about Odin, though he could have come with some more accessories imo.

Not bad, i got it £140 shipped, it's gone up even more now.

Had to get it for the cheapest price going (Ghost Rider left my bank account feeling sad)


Y4NK33 - My guess is Odin will come with something extra. We got a surprise with Thor and i'm sure we will with Odin. I had to get this figure because despite it's imperfections, the awesomeness still shines through (Thanks to OMG).
I will still get Thor from the Avengers but as i've said before i bet we won't get him till 2013 at the latest, other figures will be getting priority.

The best thing about not getting Thor (for those who haven't) is that with Thor 2 rumoured to be out soon after Iron Man 3 we will be getting another Thor soon.

I bet Iron Man Mark VII will be the first HT Avenger released because Hot Toys will want to pump out the Mark VIII the following year when Iron Man III comes out lol.

I wonder if we will get a new Black Widow?
If we do my guess is we will get sculpted hair because Scar Jo is sporting shorter hair atm. (I know they may use extensions for filming but i can hope!)

Makes sense. I haven't decided on this one either for similar reasons. Gotta wait till SDCC to kind of plan the purchases for the remainder of the year

I like how Thor looks wearing the helmet most, though he didn't really sport it in the movie at all which was a little odd. HT throwing the rock in was great, Odin needed some kind of love like that though idk what they could have added...maybe the Frost giant power source thingy?

I doubt Odin comes with anything unexpected. IMO the bonus item for Thor was probably being made for another piece which was nixed and they added to Thor. I don't really care because it is a super cool bonus.

I hear ya.
The fact that there's no battle cry head sculpt is disappointing to me.
As it is now, the expression doesn't match dynamic poses that depict aggression.

What bugs me even more than that is, this Hot Toys Thor is nearly the same height as the Hot Toys Iron Man.
That's a big no-no coming from an Avengers fan.
