Awesome Headsculpt ! Aside from the helmet, I am not blown by the costume design. It may be the figure's scale but I think the design lacks impact. It's just right for television lol. I will cave and get it because someday soon we'll have the Hot Toys First Avenger and I need these 2 on my shelf !

Maybe, but that would be more difficult with the 1/2 scale Iron Man than most collectibles. Sucks to hear that, JYE.

Up until the NRDs, I simply didn't do pre-orders from places that charge cancellation fees. Unfortunately, you don't have other options for SSC exclusives, so I've had to bite the bullet with a couple of things.

I avoided places for the most part that did. Just because I didn't know about some places. With SS I don't mind cause of the CS and I can trust them. Plus you factor in it should help with ES being too big. Then you factor in the RP I'm game for it.

I completely understand the NRDs from Sideshow's perspective, and am only ordering Sideshow statues directly from them now for customer service issues that you refer to.

But I'm a cautious person, who understands that unforeseen situations pop up. So if I had it my way, I would never owe money for a pre-order that I wasn't definitely going to buy (and really, I don't know if that is the case until something actually comes in-stock).

Thats why you only order stuff you know you want 100% for sure. Even with the thought that something could come up.

Well, you never know for 100% that you won't lose your job, or get sued, or have to fix your car, or get put in the hospital, or have a sibling or cousin who needs to get bailed out, etc.

Even DX Superman would have to take a back seat to life in some situations.

Right but you live and save according to that way if something happens you're not caught off guard. Thats why I had some collecting money saved up when I lost my job. You plan, plan, plan.

I don't think they would call it a muscle body if it was an Advanced True Type.

And based on the trailers, guy likes to show off his guns. So, makes some sense to me that he would have the muscle body even if most folks don't display him so you would see it.

Well, I'd like to see him without the chain mail shirt then. It does look like the Wolverine style neck area.... Still, If he doesn't appear that way in the film then I don't want to pay a premium for a muscle body.

Figures that have exposed joints I can see having a muscle body but figures like this and Indy just didn't need that upgrade.:lecture

Hot Toys needs to add more bulk to their standard True Types and label them as such, like what Medicom does with their "Massive" RAH. Muscle bodies for HT usually means reduced articulation. Introducing a beefy True Type would be great. They wouldn't even need to build it from the ground up, just mold new torso and arms and re-use the snap-on thighs from TTA.

I'm tired of them using the Wolvie body for characters that need something else.
