I used to be one of the first guys in the nation to get these since I am in California, but Sideshow seems to be really slowing down their shipments to resellers.

Same here, Thor is the first HT figure I have ever bought from a local retailer that I didn't have in my hands the day after SS received their stock. I hope it's not going to be a trend, especially with Spiderman coming up

SS seems to be the typical supplier for all those places, though BBTS will get HT figures from other suppliers from time to time (for the Dark Knight figures, exclusives, etc.).

Can the wings on the helmet be separated easily? I want to replace the silver metal looking one with some white plastic real looking wings.

hi i saw your post about the wings on thors helmet ,if you decide to remove the wings i would love to buy them from you ,as sadly mine got broken ,and would love the chance to swap them out ,sad to say my 13 year old bearded collie, libby ,got kinda excited wagging her tail all over the joint and down comes thor off a low table ,well you know the rest but at 91 in dog years ,i cant get mad at her for still haveing enough excitement for life that she can take down a thunder god LMK CHEERS CHRIS

I hope folks are pushing down that head to make the neck shorter and make him look more stocky?!

I see some photo's here where his neck is looking rather long. Pushing down the head was the very first thing I did when I got him!

Do you have a photo of the break? Can it (the wing) be cleanly separated from the helmet? Just don't want to start prying it apart if it's not going to be a clean separation.

hi the break is at the tip of the wing aprox 1inch down ,so the tip of the wing is snapped off ,battle damage thor ,in truth i think it would be risky to try and take off the wings without damageing the helmet where they join ,it depends on if your new wings would cover that area ,ill try to sort pictures of the break ,but i dont think they would be of much use in helping you to decide cheers chris

I preordered mine from redfordfilms.com due to their low price ($159.99) with free shipping and I am starting to regret it.
I emailed them over a week ago and they replied that Thor is not due in until September. I can't imagine a supplier that would ship that late so I am still holding out hope that the person that replied did not know what he was talking about and will be surprised when it shows up soon.
At least that's what I'm hoping for

They told me that they are to receive their stock middle of this week.

I think Sideshow is holding major shipments to help push up their sales. But that is just my opinion.
