I modded his helmet, took the wings off and basically rotated them a bit to bring the face guards up to the sides of his face, also smoothed away the peg they had that mounted them to bring them closer to the helmet:

That really looks good on the helmet mod. So was it very difficult?

If this continues I guess we're all going to be forced to buy from SS from now on.

No more AEC, BBTS or CSC for us, unless we enjoy waiting that is :lol

I definately won't go the expensive asian route though. :nono

I would love to order from ss.... If I didn't live in ca and have to pay for both shipping AND tax.. :gah:

I was about to ask if you had done something to the helmet because it looks a bit different then all the other pics I've seen.

Looks good and great pics! Congrats on your figure! :rock :rock

Still waiting for mine... :impatient:

It's not easy i guess. The hardest part is probably getting the wings lined up properly and then glued on, trying your damdest to avoid messing up either the helmet or the head when test fitting.

Basically you carefully pry the wings and they can pop out, they are pegged into the helmet. Then you sand down the peg and the base of the peg till you have a smooth inner surface to the wing, and with mine at least, theres a angular protrusion on the helmet that helped me line the wings back up when glueing them. Basically alot of test fitting and positioning till i was happy then careful glueing and drying and done.

well it looks a thousand times better. mines coming in today, and its going to be hard NOT to do this mod.

Yeah, hard to justify the extra amount that we pay here. The free shipping does help though. I went SS for Cap.

Sent using two cans and some string.

you should order from CSC. if youre close enough in cali you can even just pick it up.

Mine shipped out from HobbyGen today. Should be here within 1-3 days. So Excited!! Between receiving Ghost Rider yesterday, and waiting on Thor and Art-save-Punisher to arrive this is one hell of a week. Hot Toys FTW!

Free on HT products as of the Superman PO.... Though previous POs don't qualify, nor does the Superman EX.

Just browse some of the HT figs on their site, Ven. It should say "free shipping" on some of the newer figures in the area where they show how many reward points you'd get for ordering.
