Not just that. Also to have a look that differs more from the current version. If they just go for the sleeved look again, then I'll probably pass, because besides some minor armor and pants changes he looks pretty much the same. Don't need a Thor that looks 90% like the current one.

The Reeve body isn't really all that big. Next to the T800 it looks more athletic then muscular. Arms aren't as big. But I think it would fill Thor's pants better. And be taller. I'm thinking of trying the Reeve's body on Captain America.

Don't think so, but that's why they should make the cape removable again. So people can choose the look they prefer.

Not in his final suit... as you more than likely to break the suit (without modding) as it's very tight fit with the TT body.
I saw this post in the Loki thread and was going to respond, but figure it is better served here considering the nature of the thread:
Still a good figure, just not what he could have been when you see how some other HT figures have turned out.
As I've had Thor awhile and have had time to really take him in, I do think he's a sub-par HT figure. His proportions are off, the facial expression is not the best choice for the character, the hair looks a bit weird, the helmet needs modding to look really good, and even the clothing feels a bit cheap relative to other figures (particularly the pants, though the rubber arms worry the crap out of me). I'm not as put off by the weight of the hammer issue, but I can see how that would bother some others. If he had a bulkier upper body, it would go a long way to improving my feelings on this guy.
Still a good figure, just not what he could have been when you see how some other HT figures have turned out.

Anyone know exactly how tall he is? I saw a pic of him next to reeve superman and I've been told that figure is 12 1/2 inches tall. Can anyone help? I'd really like to get this figure if anyone has an extra for a decent price.

The Reeve's body isn't as big as you might think. I think it might work. Sure would give him better arm articulation.

Picked this one up from TA for $59.99. And if you use it for Thor you can sell his body to help cover the cost. I plan on trying it for Captain America as it has better arm articulation and will make him taller. Can always use his body for something else or I'm sure someone will have a use for it.

No , sorry, it's for the Superman Reeve's body on the right. The T800 is ridiculously expensive now. Cost you more then the whole figure did when it first came out. TA is Toy Anxiety.

Thanks, been looking around for one, Ebay has them, almost 200 bucks, could get another HT figure for that much.

Though in a Thor thread.... my statement was refering to Supes' body on Captain America's suit. Even Thor's body on Cap's suit will be an extremely tight fit, and it being redundant as well.
Reeves certainly have a tall body for Thor... but lacks biceps/triceps... but it does have large deltoids..
Good pics reference though.

Yeah, I know you were referring to CA, which I'm going to try out this body on, better arm articulation. I was also saying it could also work for Thor as his thigh seem bigger and the armor sleeve would be covering up any arm definition anyway. Just an idea for those unhappy with Thor's body.

I think I might try that mod on Thor with the reeve body if I can get my hands on a decent priced Thor.
