A photo tent would be best but those arent free lol. The best thing to do is get as much natural light as possible by opening all the windows. You want the light to be dispersed instead of directly at the figure, which is what a camera's flash does. You'll see the difference right away!

Pics that i took :D Applying Nick's advice not to use flash :D It turned out great :D

the super glue holds it better than the glue HT used...once its glued after the mod, its permanent!

Don't worry. Super glue works just fine. (And I completely removed the post/nub on mine.)

Well you don't have to sand the entire nub/protrusion away but make the diameter small enough that allows it to twist a bit for the right position.

Thanks lads! :)
How did you guys remove the wings in the first place? Just afraid of them snapping.
Though if there are instructions already on this thread, please just point them out.

I used a hobby knife, and carefully applied pressure to separate the wings from the helmet. Or you can also rotate the wings back and forth slowly until the glue breaks. After that its easy street

I wedged my index finger slowly between the base of the wings and the helmet, i applied just enough pressure to make the wings budge a bit.
Very slowly and gently increase pressure until the glue snaps off. (yeah, it will make that loud snapping sound that will make your heart leap :lol)

Finally i finished my custom thor. Used the spare body from Mattel Superman to give it the wider shoulders, some pants lying around, hammer from the MArvel legends, modded helmet, made a copy of my thor's head to do the hair mod. I like how it turned out but i will be keeping the original as well.

Cool pics of your custom Thor. The hammer from the Thor Famous Cover works better and is the same size as the movie hammer. (see pic below)
