Saw Thor on Thursday 21/04/2011. This movie is epic!! Expect more from Hot Toys with regards to more releases. I am not a fan of Thor, but this movie rocked!! Marvel Studios has once again made cinematic gold!!

Sorry I missed this earlier today. Inside is really cool lots of great pics of concept stuff as well as final design stuff. Haven't read a lot of the text incase it has anything spoiler like but none of the pics ruined anything.

Looks like a cool book.
Glad they didnt choose one of the wilder designs for the hammer.
The one they went with is perfect imo.
Odin looks majestic and powerful in those depictions.
Hope they go with chainmail on the legs in the Avengers and maybe try a different helm and torso design.

Me too. Those concept sketches look better than what they went with, in my opinion.

Great pics, Josh. This one did it for me, the detail on the armor looks great and, more importantly, Hemsworth looks great as Thor. They have a homerun here.

seen the movie today in 3D!!
All i will say in this thread is that it is AWESOME!!
the special effect and set and costume design are outstanding!
the acting is also very good.In particular,Thor,Odin and Loki!!
Loki steals the show for me..Tom Hiddleston played the part pretty good.I posted a review in the movie thread.Definately worthy of a 2nd viewing IMO.
I also taped the end clip,but due to it being in 3D,it came up blurry on playback,DOH!

I prefer the Kirby inspired Odin design they went with for the movie

These 2 in the book, while cool looking, seem too samurai inspired.
