God these pictures were really worth waiting for. This is superb piece of work with a simply wonderful likeness of Depp. Really really well observed. No complaints what so ever with this one.

Now why couldn't Jack had been as good as this?

I just cancelled my pre-order for Ichabod Crane to get this. Hopefully Hot Toys will get around to making him as well.

Now if only I can get a good price for my Medi-Todd....

With the chair, it does look like it will be on the high side of price. I guess the HT guys really loved that movie. Everything looks amazing...I almost wish I was interested in this is property so I'd have a better excuse to get one, but I'll probably pass on this.

Nice. I see abc-express has it on ebay for 209+shipping as well. Personally, as great as this figure looks, I am going to hold off on preordering it as I just ordered Jack last week. Plus I want to see what else is coming out in Q3 & Q4. I feel like some of the BIGGER announcements are yet to come for this year - like Classic Predator and 89' Joker & Batman.

After seeing the DX Cap'n Jack and POing that, this is an easy pass. HT should have released these specs, allowed collectors to secure this on PO and then released the DX Cap'n Jack specs. Might be a bad marketing move on their part.

your exactly right. bad marketing move for HT. Jack is more popular so they should have released this first. like the chair and backdrop, like the godfather.
