Wow Mech Test looks the best by far, that's not going to help me resist the temptation to pick the Mech Test up is it :gah: :rotfl

The aftermarket price might though ;)

Mech Test and Black Widow are really funny imho, both took forever to sell through at retail, then prices immediately launched into orbit on them as soon as they were gone.

Bet Black Widow will drop once they announce the 'improved' AVENGERS version...:wink1:

Wow, mech test tony sculpt seems to be getting a lot of attention :D,
i've yet to see one in person..well actually i have but i didnt get a close look at it

Good one SSE! HT never got the portraits absolutely right with IM, I mean the way JS, Supes, and Keaton sculpts are. However, with each Mark they seem to get better. However, with the Mk I 2.0, I wish his face was made to look more sweaty and not as if he's just taken a shower.

When I look at the Mk IV sculpt in person, it looks like it's at the same level as Supes or Jack...or may be it's just me :lol

I'm also hoping for adjustments in the Mk I 2.0 sculpt.
Tony needs that sweaty look :lecture

I think that both sculpts (with respect to the upper half) sucks.

Now that you pointed it out, i think you may be right

I definitely agree that the IM Mk I 2.0 head needs to be a bit dirtier/sweaty. It is an improvement over the v.1 but something still feels a bit off on it. It seems a bit wide and the facial expression doesn't really seem to fit.

Out of all the RDJ head sculpts, the Mark IV is amazing with the sunglasses on. Without the glasses its kind of lacking (possibly due to the expression). The Mech test head sculpt is my favorite without the sunglasses.

Saw it on display, looks totally diff from v1 (paint job I mean). Proto pics dont do this baby justice.

Nah it aint just you mate, I love my Mark IV and despite all the other figures I own including the two you mentioned the Mark IV is the one I spend most time looking at. Not sure why but it just looks cool, especially when using the RDJ head sculpt

tbh the pictures on the previous page don't do the sculpt justice imo

Just read this week milk, the only new parts that used on the 2.0 are the head sculpt, base and fire. Armor and truetype are reused the old one. :panic::panic::panic:

But it looks soooooo different. :horror:horror:horror

Preordered this figure. Looks incredible. Hoping HT stalls the other licences I collect so that I can actually go through with this figure, but I have a feeling a Predator or two would get my priorities all riled up and get me to cancel this. I'm not a superhero fan, but I think that's exactly why I'm drawn to this figure. It just looks so gritty and awesomely sci-fi than flying men in tights.

Plus Ironman 1 is still the best Marvel movie, imo.

Now that we know this is just a reissue of the armor and TT,
can someone post comparison pics of the V1.0 with a Mk IV/VI or with a normal height figure:panic:

I;m not so sure... they ARE DEFINITELY using different (finer gauge more detailed) components in the motor on the figures back. You can clearly see the difference in the comparison pics someone posted earlier.
