Not sure about flames....will have to wait till its in hand...from pics however they look poor enough...figure looks great.

Hey Youbastards! (haw haw haw)
Great outdoor photos! I don't know if you intended it or not but the angle and the background+foreground give a sorta forced-perspective effect, making the figure seem truly 1:1. Awesome!

As promised, here are a couple comparison photos I took showing both the new and old Mark I, along with some shots of just the 2.0 version.

Thanks for the comparison shots! This is what I've been wanting to see. I'm happy to know they are the same size despite what was rumored before! They both look great! Now I'll have to get one! Thank you! :clap

It's a masterpiece.
All those springs, wires, electric tape strips, rivets..everything..just merge into one beautiful figure.

It's interesting how they were able to put this thing together.

They're both wonderful, I think v2.0 has a much better likeness to Stark underneath, but v1.0 is not exactly chopped liver.

Wow, lookit the detail on these. Its no wonder they're so expensive, imagine putting all that together.

Thanks for the effort in putting this together. :clap I didn't manage to get the first version, but am really please with v2.0. :)

Ended up canceling this. Not because I didn't want it but because I couldn't afford it. Oh well, hope everyone who gets this guy will enjoy it for me!

Hi guys, first time poster, long time lurker here.

I REALLY struggled with the decision to buy this figure. I have the mech test, mark 4, mark 6 and war machine. First impression for me was that it was ugly and fat, and not as cool as the rest (when posed together). I literally read through the whole thread and there were issues with articulation making the flame look like it was roasting bugs and etc.

But alas the details finally won me over and it arrived today. I am happy to report that articulation is not an issue and it looks just awesome with the flame accessory. The flame shield somewhat helps to keep it up and rotating the body upwards helps too (The body also stays in place post rotation which is really great)

After browsing through tons of pictures here, I was afraid I would not be very impressed after looking at the figure myself but I was wrong. For the first time I noticed boosters behind his right leg shield thing. Boy is that cool.

Also I just noticed you can see his boots and pants clearly which are attached into the mark 1 "foot".

Overall I'm really impressed with this figure. It stands out as having the most detail in stark comparison with the other marks.

I was so scared to open the package. there were some early reviews done by ppl from asia of the two different versions of the mark i and now after receiving it i can tell you that, it looks GREAT. seriously, looks like it jumped out of the tv. the paint job is great, dont listen to other people and just get one if you dont got one!
