Anyways rhe head is awesome yes but what's with rhe beard being too light? He had a full beard during that scene.

Also so they tote about lalla doing this big repainting of the armor and it's worse than the first paint job? WTF?

Seeing as I got 500 for selling mark one I don't regret the swap.

I sold my old one like 6-7 months ago, so I don't think I can even remember what the paint job on the old one looks like.

Seems to be true in Malaysia too.... but I've picked up 5 units easily enough.. I've 2 atm... 3 will be coming soon.

Lets see if I can pick up a 6th...

There's some comparison pictures up above when I first got it i felt something was off, so I went through the thread and saw the side by sides. The biggest difference is them weathering on the armor. It's too clean amd fake looking now. They made a big deal about Lalla and he did a far worse job as far as I am concerned.

And the lack of a full beard really drives me crazy you can see they sculpted it, but Just left it skin tone.

Finally have this displayed after 8 months of waiting!
Mission accomplished

Some good points that surprised me:
1) Box was really awesome! The magnets were a nice touch!

2) Face sculpt is MUCH better in person.
In pics it looks superb, but in person it's just mini Tony Stark in your hand.

3) Joints have a good amount of traction; no reason to fear him toppling over

4) The red light looks great.

5) Others always said it feels fragile.
I don't really think it's fragile.

the bad:
1) The battery sleeve was too damn hard to remove HAHA!
nothing much really..

Overall, this is going to stay with me forever and ever.

Nice pics there, I just got this figure as well and he was worth the wait. I don't like the plastic flame though, it looks like, well plastic! Mine will just stay in the box like most of the extras HT provides.

Someone who got this a few pages back have said that the cleaner looking armor of the v2 is actually movie accurate - as the mark 1 didn't go through extreme weathering like what the v1 looks like. I haven done any scene comparison yet, and I don't have the v2 in hand yet so, I'm not sure if that statement is true or not.

The stark head isn't a deal breaker for me, as with the case with all of the suits, as I don't intend to display them with it. But again, most members here seemed please with the stark head.

If its movie accurate than I'll admit I can't speak to that but I'll take that as a valid statement. I don't think it looks as cool but if it is indeed more accurate than I'd prefer it.

The head itself is great but why not paint the beard? It seems likes foolish omission.

Have you compared the beard paint job with some of the pics that have been posted here? And maybe point out what you mean?

As there's quite a few members here who have already receive it, and none have complained the paint job of the beard so far. Yours might be an isolated case perhaps?

Was on the fence about picking this up since I already have the first version, but with the price at my local shop being low enough I pulled the trigger.

It's very cool and worth every penny as was the first version when I bought it.
