Some people are going to say that HT is just greedy no matter how much economic sense you and others make...

Its not just the Dollar falling in value or oil prices. China has been coming up in a big way the last 5 years. Everything is more expensive over there too.

One more thing that bears repeating: Big talent costs big money to keep around. Right now HT is kinda like the Yankees of the 1/6 market. Why complain about the ticket prices when you know they're steamrolling the other teams? I'm actually more frustrated that Medicom and Enterbay backed off. Granted Enterbay is rocking the 1/4 scale and willingness to try a new IP (MIB) but man there should be way more competition for these guys.

Economics as a whole doesn't make sense. It's all flawed, corrupt bull ____. Wages arent going up for the most part because people who control those wages are also greedy, self centered, and feel that theyre entitled to their 50,000 bonuses so they can afford to put gas in their boats and stock the fridge at their summer homes. I can hear them now

"To hell with giving "Joe" and his crew their usual 9% raise. I cant! You have any idea how much it costs to keep my yacht docked every month?!? Tell him Im sorry but we're in a recession and he shouldn't expect it. But thank him for his work and hey,... at least he has his job. How many americans can say that?! Lol"

I picked up 1st avenger and happy how turned out..I plan on picking this one up. I think both can be mixed together to make a very cool cap....I want this hs for 1st cap and the 1st helmet hs for this cap with battle damaged shield...Also dont see a clip for shield to rest on back of this version...anyway that's the plan... I hope the differnt heads fit on differnt caps..

I think the $200.00 crest on figures they use to make would have killed the line. But with the quality they are cranking out today, that has allowed them to push up prices with demand. But I think it's a safe bet that quality has crested. People can justify a great many prices. But disposable income over and above $300.00 is going to squeeze a lot of folks. Sure, you will always have some who will pay whatever they ask. But you have to be able to satisfy the core of your consumer base to stay in business. This latest increase will already test that loyalty as well as affordability for some.

True. They're due for a correction. I mean we still got Supes, Mark 5, Indiana Jones, and Cap FA in stock at SS. Sooner or later you'd think they'd make more of an effort to hold steady with the prices. Then again, the same thing could be said for the SS Joes. Zartan is going for $170 and now Snakeyes v2 is goin for $200. They started the line with $90-$120 figures less than 4 years ago.

Even with our current rate of inflation of what about 10% a year lol, HT & friends are shooting past a 20% increase at this point. Contrast this with pre-banking crisis levels of about 5% a year and you've got the recipe for a burst bubble.

Just hang on to your seats everyone.
