That is not the HT body. Looks like one of the CM toys. Face color doesn't match the arms.

There you have it.... The cube give to Thor (& Loki) measures around 1cm cube...

The cube that came with Fury/Red Skull..... around 1.5cm cube...
Fury was not honest (sly) in giving the Asgardians the entire cube.... retain enough, and getting rid of the Asgardians (& Thanos off Earth/Fury's back...) :)

Not only Fury I suppose... Fury (may or may not) in cahoots with Dr. Selvig/Banner/Stark.... or the 3 "scientists" independent of Fury... hehehe...

You can't be serious :cuckoo:

Really now? I did say the figure was great, rather I find that there's not enough SIGNIFICANT changes for me to want it that bad. Sure, better body, better detailing etc. but in terms of general design a lot of the elements are only slightly modified. Factor in the accessories, I still prefer the original.

Make a Thor 2 version in this quality and you'd have me sold on getting that one.

This is just my own speculation, but IMO on the new War Machine and Iron Patriot armors, the shoulder cannons look to me more like some sort of laser cannon, not a machine gun. If they are machine guns, they don't look terribly realistic to me. Anyway, I was wondering if they aren't some sort of Phase 2, Tesseract powered laser like the Chautari weapons and Red Skull's weapons.

Exactly! I have made some subtle adjustments to show what a true ht box should look like! Hopefully Hot Toys will make the changes before it ships to the states. :nana:

:exactly: Shame on you Hot Toys for bringing us, not so boxy boxes :gah:

Also depends on the lens you are using. This is an exaggerated example, but a wide lens and shooting real close to the subject is how you get this effect:

Aha, here is a good example:

Making use of different levels of attractiveness and ending with devastatingly attractive for your natural face :rotfl:lol
That made me laugh :duff

HELLO BULGING MUSCLES. Judging from the "sleeves" that were posted a page or two back, it looks like Hot Toys listened to us and made them easily removable for Helicarrier Thor.

That's a different body/sleeve from another set.

It seemed like it shoots projectiles, not laser, in the IM3 Prelude comic.

You're right. If you look at the cannon, that sign is a typical ANSI laser marker.

AHHH...he is out too soon...needed a little more time after Widow to let the wallet recover...

I didn't even think about that. I thought it'd be somekind of high-tec railgun or whatever.

I just didn't see any way that you could get bullets up to that thing. It looks like a cannon with a hinge that it pops up on. So my thought was some sort of laser. :)

I wonder if the next trailer will show it?

I just had a look for you and i can't add reward points either. :dunno

This Thor figure looks good and he wasn't even on my list. Seeing that group shot makes me wonder why Hot Toys didn't sculpt Black Widow's hair.
