Nothing against the figure....

my problems with Thor start with the movie, and actor.

For one...in this movie Hemsworth's hair looks like he just left a Motley Crew concert....total 80's ____ rock.

Then to top it all off....his pants have gone from looking like futuristic biker pants, to looking like a futuristic adidas wind suit.

At least he doesn't look as anorexic.

They REALLY need to simplify his look for the next movies....maybe something more akin to his classic look, where the chestpiece is just black with the circles or something.

No matter what anybody says I think Thors modern look would actually work well on screen, and give him that norse viking god/knight look even better. Hollywood needs to embrace the whole Norse God thing, and LET him look old school...and for the love of god make this premadonna actor wear the battle-cat helmet!!

Oh well, after the Green Lantern cancellation its still nice to see that HT is willing to take a chance on some more obscure licenses like "The Man in the Iron Mask."

I agree. As bad as Indy was I actually could see some Ford in it. Hemsworth? Total no-show on this figure.

And that's too bad because I decided that if Thor was a homerun I'd get all four of the main Avengers. Now I'll just stick with Cap unless they dramatically improve this one.

Same... unless this one is fixed, so far it's only Cap for me.

Doesn't look very much like Hemsworth to me and I'm very forgiving on sculpts and don't really see a lot of the flaws some others pick out most of the time, but it's pretty clear with this one. Thor's one of my favorites, so I hope they fix the sculpt.

My $160 Thor from last year looks better to me at the moment. Other than his crappy ankle joints, I'm pretty happy with his sculpt compared to this one.

I actually prefer the Avengers suit and body quite a bit more than the V1 Thor. Much more colorful. But I don't think there's any contest on which head is superior (despite the crummy hair).

It's leonardo dicaprio, not chris hemsworth.

as with my argument about the superman chris reeve prototype (which earned me an infraction and a troll accusation), this is not an accurate sculpt. again i say, sure, it has a resemblance, but i won't agree that it is an accurate depiction of hemsworth, as the picture shows.

just my opinion, not trolling. i already have the capt america first avenger and iron man mark VI, and pre-ordered the new capt america, hawkeye, and will pre-order the hulk when it comes out, but until HT changes this thor, alas, my avengers lineup will just have to be incomplete...

Yes, the head is off and once again, the hair sucks! The old one is worse, he has no real likeness in either and I don't what people are seeing in V1 where they say he looks much more like Hemsworth!
So they added bulk to the figure, which was everyones main complaint! Other than pushing the neck down a bit, if not his arms hand too low, I think the body is much better overall.They will NEED To fix the head and not just the face, the hair too before I buy!

The hair did suck on the first Thor. That's why I put the helmet on mine.

The body is definitely better on the Avengers version, but sculpt should be perfect with the prices they're charging these days.
