I won't even lie to myself. I got into this 1/6 Hot Toys less than a year ago and already own 11 of them. I am not completely pleased with the Chris Evans HS or Thor's for that matter, but like the Fury, Hawkeye and Captain America, this will be on PO as soon as it goes up. I will be getting all of them regardless.

Hopefully the rewards points that I have racked up will put a small dent on the Hulk price. That's a must have and I know it will be up there in price.

Back to Thor, I read early on it is still pending licenser approval. Hope is alive.....

Good point. Usually in this case the head is blurred out. The licensor may ask them to re-do the head.

Nothing against the figure....

my problems with Thor start with the movie, and actor.

For one...in this movie Hemsworth's hair looks like he just left a Motley Crew concert....total 80's ____ rock.

Then to top it all off....his pants have gone from looking like futuristic biker pants, to looking like a futuristic adidas wind suit.

At least he doesn't look as anorexic.

They REALLY need to simplify his look for the next movies....maybe something more akin to his classic look, where the chestpiece is just black with the circles or something.

No matter what anybody says I think Thors modern look would actually work well on screen, and give him that norse viking god/knight look even better. Hollywood needs to embrace the whole Norse God thing, and LET him look old school...and for the love of god make this premadonna actor wear the battle-cat helmet!!

They could add some pretty simple things to change the overall look. I personally felt they could've just left the cape out altogether. He is flying by throwing him hammer not because of a cape. I would also like to have seen some more chrome or metal in the chest and maybe more reinforced shoulders to give him just a few inches of extra width. Helmet would have been nice in this movie for sure. But, the hair has always been my main complaint, its just ugly.

I don't what people are seeing in V1 where they say he looks much more like Hemsworth!

Well, that's like, your opinion man. V1 isn't perfect, but it's a decent Hemsworth sculpt IMO. I thought the main problem there for many was that he looks so listless, as if he's doped up or something. This one is just not even close IMO.

After a lot of staring it's the frown and the hairline. I really hope they change it. It's the only HT's figure i've wanted but i'm not inclined to buy it

With so many people unhappy with the results what do you think the chances of tweaking are?

Funny thing is; I bet if Hot Toys tried to do a DiCaprio sculpt it wouldn't be as good as this one looks.

The whole body and accessories are perfect, HT nailed that.

But I have to agree, the HS is very off, I am disappointed because Thor is one of my favourites.

This pic shows that this guys delts aren't as huge as this figure would suggest. I actually think the V1 was close to accurate to the actors actual size. The sleeves just were too baggy and didn't show that he is athletically built...but he's not big. The V2 looks big.

Well, his dad is in the THOR movie, and it concerns his actual heritage...he has the look and the hair, he could certainly have done it...and well too if TRUE BLOOD is anything to go by.

Maybe if Chris gets fed up?
