I'm far too lazy to search, but how well does the old Thor helmet fit onto the new Avengers Thor head sculpt?

I was originally going to go after the first HT Thor, but this new one seems so much better in just about every way, barring the lack of his helmet.

Of course, he hardly ever wore it during the first Thor film (opening scene only?) and he never wore it the Avengers movie, but to me, I love the helmet design.

As a long time Thor fan, the helmet is almost as important as Mjolnir itself when it comes to the iconic Thor persona.

I haven't seen a single picture with the a helmet on the new thor head. It seems way too large with the hair for the helmet to fit. Even the first thor head was too big so they gave it a different hair piece to accommodate the helmet

Nope will not fit..

However old head with helmet on avengers body looks awesome.

I knew the older Thor had a separate hair piece to fit the helmet so this makes sense.

I guess it just wouldn't happen without some modding to the new head.

Ahh well, there are many things that I like about this current figure as-is.

But CH in the Thor movie jacked. His arms were fkn huge. In Avengers movie he didn't look as big. He was still buff but not Thor 1 buff. The Thor figure was cool but the HS look f up. Kind of reminded me of a pug that custom by r3d15 looks awesome. Wish HT would of made real ez to take sleeves off. If I tried to do that I prolly rip or break something

In the first film he was pretty much made of muscles.

Yeah I just read about that on yahoo.they say he was 235 lbs for Thor and to film that movie rush he had to drop down to 175 lbs

It stated he slimmed down and that the guy he was portraying was 175lbs. Hems didn't look 175lbs. Just slim to me.

just grab another avengers thor head off ebay and trim down the top of the head till it fits...

I believe that is what I will do.

just make sure to keep the hair pieces as intact as possible. I would take out as much of the head itself as possible and then put the hair back in under the helmet

Just so you know, it's not exactly screen accurate though, because in the film when he was bare armed..no cape.

Thanks guys. Had to do the arm swap since the MMS117 body ended up being too big. Its reversible but its a pain to screw and unscrew the tiny screws.

I dont think he cares if its accurate though, so long as it looks cool on his shelf
