It seems like you see what you want to see. I already said that I don't think all HT figures are perfect why the f would you say that I say so. Also, you missed the point in my last comment, it's all about personal preference and taste. You like PF's and I don't. I was trying to be respectful..

I have seen a few PF's headsculpts that looks ok, mainly robots, monsters, and nonhumans, but nothing as good as some of the best Hot Toys headsculpts, IMO.

I like the Hellboy PF based on the promo pics, haven't seen it up-close though, but from far away most PF's looks ok, then another story up-close.

The paint is the biggest issue I have with the PF's, but the form is also off on many of them. They just look cheap and cartoonish to me. It's not enough for me that the sculpt unpainted might be good, but the final product altogether must be.

The PF's obviously sell well so that means that many people like them. In the end it's just personal preference and taste that matters.

Seriously? In the flesh Hemsworth is a huge guy!
Not just tall but absolutely stacked and with real presence.

It doesn't mean that the figure of him must look like T-800 Thor

I think the hot toys sculpt will be fine. I have always found Hot toys photos have never been great at capturing likeness as well as others photos I've seen. My whiplash, Hot toys, others or my own photos taken of him, HS looks like crap. But seeing it up front, I think it's one of the best head sculpt likeness in my collection. Sometimes the camera does lie I guess?

Unlike Cap where I felt that the HS didnt really look like evans that much, I feel like they Nailed Hemsworth's likeness! Much improvement from the first imo

HT Thors never take good pics. The video from the window display with the angle looking down on him looks good though.

When I saw the first picture of this next to Howard the CEO of Hot Toys I thought it looked pretty good, so when the full pictures came out I did not think I was going to be able to resist the temptation to order it. I have never been so disappointed by a first impression of seeing a figure for the first time, and I have not seen anything, video or otherwise to change my mind. Such a shame as Captain America was a different story, and I own the previous figure of that too.

I'm actually the opposite, Cap looks perfect and Thor looks good only from certain angles to me. Isn't it weird how two people can see things so differently?

Wondering who is going to be next for pre-ordering. I already have Hawkeye, Captain American, and now Thor. I am hoping Iron Man Mark VII is next or Black Widow. I am betting they are saving Hulk for last.

Black Widow next I bet. They would want to end the line (thus far, until AII that is) strong. I don't see how much stronger than IM and finally HULK you can get. That in my opinion, would be the best way to go.

HULK definitely last.

Hulk and Loki for me. I am passing on the Mark VII as I already have the Mark VI.
