Great to see a decent picture of this figure to show how much better it is than the Avengers prototype

We are strictly talking about the sculpt right?..in that case I would agree, but the rest of the new figure as in the body and the the new costume looks much cooler then the original!

I won't be po'ing this, I will wait to see if they fix that sculpt.

I think its fine the way it is. It has the essence of THOR so its enough for me.

Besides having all the Avengers plus Spiderman and Wolverine on my shelf, theres going to be so much awesome on that shelf having a close enough sculpt of THOR wont bother me any.

I agree, the costume and proportions look so great, huge improvement, its just the upper part of the the face that is way off.

Just imagine if HT got the likeness right this would be one of their best figures

I seriously doubt Marvel and/or Disney would screw up the contract signing by not securing the merchandising for this movie.

I think Sideshow really need to sort out the sloppy paint work. I have been saying this since the Indy PF, and seems things have only got worse on some of the releases. look how good it looks before they mess it up.

Great sculpt, great outfit just runied by a poor paint job, such a shame. However when the repaints come out you will see how great this PF should be, but people really should not have to get it repainted in the first place.

They just glob on the paint. They look like giant action figures.
I stopped buying them because of this. To bad.

These figures are just to expensive now to buy ones that are sub par efforts.
