Before the movie came out I was kidding about the sleeveless look being the triple h look, but it appears it almost happened. :lol

^^

To each his own, but I'm personally satisfied with the current sculpt. I'm so glad I don't get wrapped up in seeing a specific actor as these superhero characters. I mean of course that's more of a statement for the more current hero movies. Theyll always be an exception for Reeves Superman & Keaton Batman but that's about it. I could care less about this Chris Hemsworth guy. In my eyes this portrait doesn't represent him, its a representation of the character THOR as a whole (past & present versions). So long as the guy has long blonde hair, a big red cape & a hammer, Im good!

:clap i agree. I only cared about near-100% accuracy on Reeve and Keaton. if you got the money and don't have a thor yet, this Dicaprio version beats v1 anytime.

It appears to me that the sleeves look similar to the original version. I'm sure they are a bit different, but I'd be surprised if they changed them so much to prevent articulation.

I think they purposely hindered articulation because of the rubber sleeve, to prevent it from tearing. If there is a elbow joint, it has very limited range

Stark in his Armour is about 6'4. Thor is 6'4, The V1 of Thor is the same height as Superman, also 6'4 so if this one is taller than both of those figures, it's too tall.

Actually stark is the same height as cap, about 6 foot, in his armor do compared to Thor he should be shorter.

Stark going from 5'8" to 6'4" is a big stretch. I'd be more likely to believe he can get to 6 foot.

You can't really use that clip from avengers to judge height. For one, they are not on a flat surface, like a hanger, they are in the woods. Hilly ground and all. In the scene where the thunder god first appears, standing in the plane, cap and stark are equal heights.

Maybe in the comic it's different but in the movie, not so much.

I think its funny that people keep comparing the sculpt to a likeness of DiCaprio...I don't see that AT ALL!!!! I see Triple H from the WWE though...:hi5:
