The headsculpt is nice. The rest of the figure looks like a kitbash somebody has put on a 12" $15 WWE figure

Jesus. Whoever put that up just didn't give a ____, did they? Not a very good showing. Should look cool when it doesn't look like it just came out of a Pringles can.

those sleeves look horrible, what were they going for?

looks like he got milk :D

*snerk* :snake:

Looks great.... please fix the sleeves. It never ceases to amaze me how the people who set up figures at Toyfair or CC or whatever convention, have the worst posing skills ever. And they don't fix wonky wrinkling, or costume part misplacements. The worst ever on this issue? Tonner Doll Co. Just..... UGH!

Of course Thor's sleeves are not nearly as bad as the wonkiness going on over in the Iron Man Mark VII [?] thread, so I'll leave it at that. It honestly looks like Stark's entire chestplate is placed wrong. So. much. Fail.

Just make him sleeveless.
I think the figure will look better like that anyway...

...but he'll probably need the Dutch body.

Who ever set these toys up did a sub-par job. This is where you present and sell your product. A first impression is suppose to be a great one! I think the management needs a serious sit down talk with their promotional team! :dunno

Is the tunic even done up at the back on this figure? I don't think it is...The sagging in the shoulders would be the most obvious place for fabric to gather if it is not fastened properly, at this scale.

Just look at how open this top is around the rib area. I think this constitutes another botch-job on the part of the staff setting the figures out for display, and not on the figure itself this time.

They have made a great figure with an improved sculpt, look hideous!

i actually think that seeing the figure in this poor pose can be helpful for us buyers. We can see the flaws of the figure much better. The promo photos are too contrived towards making the figure looks best. Here we just see how bad it can be and decide if we really want the figure.

Having said that, the headsculpt actually looks better here since I didn't see the resemblance in the promo shots.

Nah he doesn't look hideous, the sculpt is still great. A wrinkly shirt, we can all fix.

I think perhaps Loki is to blame for this. Some do battle, others just do tricks and it certainly looks like this is a trick. Thor just got Loki'd. :snake:

Are you ____ing kidding me?? These shoulders look ridiculous. This is a joke, it looks like his shirt is stuffed with cotton. If it doesn't change Im definitely canceling this order.

I'm telling you, that tunic is not done up properly. Viking Spawn is correct, the team assigned to put these figures out obviously could not give a flying fig about their jobs....

Amazing Spiderman = Epic fail
Avengers Thor = Epic fail
Avengers Iron-man = Epic fail.

And they are being paid for that too! I would have done it for nothing.

This and the Spider-man figure are making me rethink the whole Hot Toys thing at all. Sorry I know its Comic Con but that is where they should show their best stuff.
