This and the Spider-man figure are making me rethink the whole Hot Toys thing at all. Sorry I know its Comic Con but that is where they should show their best stuff.

There is the problem right there...the items are great but how they are being displayed is just atrocious!

No thought, no care, no planning and boy, it shows too.

Collectors still buy = Epic win for Hot Toys.

It was more a comment on how I thought they were being shown. This is THE top show in the world and only the very best should be seen and presented there, and in the best way possible...Which is exactly what is not happening.

The only one I have PO'ed from that lot so far is THOR. But I am tempted to get IM VII when he becomes available.

Not Spidey yet though...may even wait for ASM II.

I agree that is the set up and display design that is doing most ( maybe spiderman is the exclusion ) if not all a disservice. There is no way that Thor outfit it THAT bad looking!

Yeah there is NO way they could possible sell those looking like that honestly. I just can't believe there is no quality control person overseeing this BS and fixing it.

Whats funny though is that now I've gone back into their FB site where they showed the retooled head sculpt with Loki and Thor holding Tesseract together and you really CANT see the shoulders quite enough to tell??? Maybe it IS just that bad.

Im not sure I mean I guess, but wouldn't you think it would draw a lot of negative attention left like this? Someone has to know this looks ridiculous

You would think so. I wonder if anyone has been commenting on their Facebook in regards to this? :dunno

:lol i really think that is just an isolated incident, fault on the part of the display manager

Like I was saying earlier, this kind of thing happens all the time at these shows. They send in some guy who has no idea how to pose or assemble the product, with the results we see here. Poor Iron Man has it even worse.

This is not the first time I have seen this type of crap and it wont be the last. But it really, really reflects badly on the producer, because people are going over pix of waitlisted stuff with a fine-toothed comb, wondering if they did the right thing by preordering. Thousands of people, all over the Internet are scrutinizing these pix.

In this economic climate, I would think keeping every last customer wanting to maintain their preorder - or maybe make a new one - would be a priority, but i guess if you're making enough money anyway it just dont matter. :slap

But do you think its just the posing? I don't know that Id want to have this figure even if in some poses it looked like this lol Id rather they just fix it doesn't even look like a normal figure body under it weird

I'm telling you, it's a case of posing and that this figure's costume has come undone at the back. That's why the sleeves are 'bagging' as they are. And no has spotted it....or worse, they have and don't really care!

yeah i think that definitely looks like a case of the sleeves not getting tucked in/futzed properly...i don't think any of the HT TTs have its arms bulging/sagging that way.

Haha yeah I guess you are probably right, sorry I didn't see what you meant in your previous post. Strange, so maybe due to the prototype it wasn't a fully finished shirt. Good God would someone please go behind the glass and fix this
