I agree. While I do like the new ASM 2 suit, I wish there were more elements from the ASM1 suit than just the chest and back symbol. I would've preferred the same material as the first suit and the webbing to continue to be recessed vs raised.

i am digging the new suit. i also dug what they did with it in ASM1 but i think this works well as a natural progression. in some ways i could definitely have gone with something that wasnt as 'classic' but you really cant go wrong with the classic spidey. and it seems to blend well with elements of the suit from the first film.as a side note, i'm really digging the new amazing series and have high hopes for the future of it. though i have read much of the classic spidey, this rendition is closer to what i grew up and honestly raimi's version was a little too classic for my taste--though there were definitely things in the first two raimi flicks that i really dug; the third was just unfortunate.
wish i could get a better shot of the parker sculpt. will definitely be putting together a parker bash.

This certainly feels more modern while the older trilogy had more of a '60's innocence feel to Pete. He was too aww shucks nice guy for me

The push back on this figure surprised me. How can you delay a Spider-Man figure by that many month?

No one expected in in Decmber granted, so the delay to Feb wasn't an issue, then the delay to April, while annoying was only two months. But now another two months?

Has any others been delayed again too?

I'm gonna go with Sideshow actually know **** all given it was only the start of this week that Hot Toys themselves delayed him to March, even if that's the end of March then Sideshow shouldn't get him any later than end of April/Start of May

Mark VII to May
Catwoman to May

The best thing about all these Marvel movies is that I'll probably be able to get a version of each figure before they are done.

I definitely want a Spider-Man so I can make a wall of a building that he can cling to.
