Looks like they're using the lights as a sub for special effects. Probably remove them and add lighting to give off that light on his face. Looks great. It's a nice take on Electro. The spandex green and yellow suit would have looked stupid.

Classic comic costumes do not always translate well into real-life looks.

They're simply going after the Ultimate universe Electro. Which makes more sense. Like I said, I think seeing him in his green and yellow suit would have been stupid.

I'm gettin' super excited. After the cancellation of Enterbay's Django, which was the other figure I'd preordered, I decided I should stop whining about delays on this guy and just be thankful that I'm getting him at all. He's going to look great.

Correct me if I am wrong here.....but as of the first of the year, HT had pretty much ALL of their pending figures listed for "March". We all knew that to be true, and it looked to me as if they were basically saying "we don't REALLY know when anything is coming out so we're just going to list everything as March for now".

Then when March did come around, they left a few figures listed as March, the ones that did actually come out (Bane, Joker, Thor, Black Widow) and at that time pushed everything else back - Catwoman = June, Loki = May, Spiderman/Hulk = June etc.

Just my opinion but I feel that at that time (early March) they actually figured out a realistic gameplan. Because to this point, THAT assessment has been dead on. Every figure that they left listed as March came out in March, and now we know Loki will come out in May.

Am I wrong here?

Has Hot Toys ever canceled a figure that already gone up for pre-order? The reason I ask is because it seems some people think that might actually happen with some figures.
