Thanks web slinger. I think once it's on a slim body it'll look a lot better. He'll have to remain the headless web slinger until Hot Toys decides to release this ridiculously overdue figure.

Anybody have any tips on how to turn an olive drab pack blue? Should it be bleached first, then dyed? Thanks.

If you're a Garfield fan, you'll want to watch the first few minutes. It was awesome, and really cool to see an Actor so excited to play such an iconic role.

1. Taking forever to release figures
2. Teasing figures then waiting years to put them up for order
3. Same selection most of the time.
4. Ignoring main characters to do figures of side characters with hardly any scenes.

I'm finding it hard to see the point anymore.

This is the only figure i have on order, i have been voting with my wallet, unlike others. Who compllain and still buy.

This is the only HT thread i reguarly post in, only others were a few questions on the Barney Ross thread and one in the Chitauri thread, other than that i've been mostly in the movie section since all of my orders are delayed and there's nothing to discuss.

Good post, Uncanny Canister. This experience has discouraged me from getting too excited about Hot Toys. This is my first Hot Toy and needless to say, it hasn't been a great experience. I'm sure I'll love the figure when it comes, but a few months ago, I said on here that I'm definitely never preordering from Hot Toys again. I'm sure I'll buy from them in the future, and I even have a few of their older figures on my mental wish-list that I'll keep an eye out for. But as for preordering? Nah. This is too much ridiculousness. Can't believe they've taken this long and we have absolutely nothing to show for it.

Like you, I have no plans to bring Hot Toys to their knees. Not everything needs to be so dramatic. I'm not going to be picketing outside their factory, I'm not going to start a "Hot Toys hates America!" website or any other stupid crap. I'm just going to quietly stop supporting them. Shame, really, considering I've only just begun to support them.

My other big disappointment with 1/6 figures was the Enterbay Django Unchained figures being canceled a few months ago. As disappointing as that was, at least we were told (eventually) what was going on, that they were officially canceled, and why they were. Enterbay took a hell of a long time to give official word, but the figures weren't in limbo for over a year and constantly being bumped back without any explanation.

As far as I'm concerned, this waiting game isn't worth playing. I guess in some people's eyes, that doesn't make me a "real" collector, since waiting is part of the "game". But I'm not interested in waiting, I'm interested in getting products that I pay for in a timely manner, or else being given a truthful reason as to why I don't yet have them. Hot Toys is having an absolute laugh with this. I'm not even angry or annoyed anymore, I'm just burned out.

Thats how i feel too. From announcement to preview to ordering to delivery it can takes years at a time. They've built up a backlog of announced products that have people waiting and waiting for nothing with no or very little news of whats happening and continue to take on new ones.
The Smooth Criminal fans have been waiting like 4 years and theres hardly a scrap of info for them, if you know whats happening for good or for bad then you can move on, not knowing leaves you in limbo.

I've been collecting HT for 5 years and am just burned out with their game-playing, it's not worth it.

I'm invested in Spider-Man but after that i don't see much drawing me back.

PFs are my collecting focus now, though they've all been delayed too

Typical, as much as i like a couple of the IM3 suits i'd much rather see Spidey again finally, fed up with the delays on this. Theres still hope i guess, still no sign of the Chitauri, Arkham City figures or Banner either
