What country would that be .... even in HK the POP was USD158, only VIP price is cheaper.

I'm all the way in Indonesia, man...

Sorry, just double checked with my converter, it's actually $175. So there you go. My mistake..:slap

I PO'd though.. Liking the new suit and I can live with the orange eyes. Hopefully we'll get a good Andrew Garfield HS

God I can't believe you guys are bickering over this, I'm so tempted to order this it looks so awesome.

I see the issues on the waistline but that's nothing compared to the texture of the suit of which they've replicated wonderfully with ... wait for it... fabric! Yes it creases, no ____, it's a skin-tight suit. But the added articulation to the underbody, the silhouette, the texture and material of the suit altogether brings a win in my book.

Only nag would be the lack of accessories. Now to see that movie. :yess:

It's a frickin comic book, deal with it. I don't think a billionaire could make a suit made out of iron and fly half way round the world and punch through tanks but people eat that ____ up. I guess it's cool to hate on spidey but when the 200th joker comes out every one wants it despite it being a figure we already gotten. O man the neck seam sucks, o man the classic suit is better, o man why the yellow eyes. Damn some of you need to hitch a boat to china and work for HT yourselves.

Well, maybe it's a comic book, but doesn't mean Raimi's solution for the webs wasn't the better one. The suit looks gay, it's not Hot Toys fault, heck, it's gay by itself, Hot Toys replicates it very well, but it's still a stupid looking suit. Chris Nolan took some liberties with the Batman license too, and that's why we love it.

Comic's and films are different things, and yes a (genious, you forgot that) billionaire making a mechanical armored suit doesn't seem all that far-fetched to me, compared to a student making a very very sophisticated superhero costume that shoots WEB that can hold CARS in the air, in secret, in his own room. <<

And im not pissing on HT here, don't know where you got that from.

Suit looks awesome to me, there is room for both this and classic.

60% of the complaints here about the figure have been about price not being what people wanted, 30% about not liking the suit design itself, 5% about what it comes with and 5% about accuracy

If you're one of the ones who don't like this suit, don't let the door hit you on the butt on the way out :lecture

In the end, basketball spiderman is stupid.

You spelt genius wrong.

Genious.

Dammit!

Wasn't that already the opinion when the first pictures of the movie were posted? As far as I'm concerned, if you didn't like the suit, you've already had about close to a year to

I find little use of bickering about it now. :dunno:

I don't think iron would be a good choice either.. a gold-titanium alloy on the other hand..

I don't read many comics but I do know from the cartoons and what not that Peter Parker is a very smart kid, It's totally believable he could make those web shooters, and from what I gathered from the trailers he made them based on designs his father came up with.

And honestly, I find the web fluid container thing the comics had extremely unbelievable. A teenage kid designing web fluid? Meh. Wish they'd stuck with the organic web.

When Sam Raimi decided to use organic web shooters, everyone's reaction was:

Now that they are using mechanic web shooters, some are still like:

Pretty much everything in the comic book world is unbelievable. Being able to realize that is important.

Sodemieter op met uw homofobe reacties.

Thanks Star puffs, that made me laugh. Swearing in Dutch! What a multi-lingual bunch we are :)

Seriously though, why are there so many people on here moaning about a figure they are claiming that they will not buy? What's the point. You cannot make a stronger statement than actually not buying it, what more can you possibly add?

$205? Really?

I'm late to the party here, but what the hell. I wouldn't even dream of dropping $205 for such a barebones figure with a headsculpt that may or may not even be any good. Plus, at first blush it seems all kinds of inaccurate to me.
