I am glad so many of you are that willing to gamble with $200, on something you don't like the looks of. If I wanted to gamble I would hit a casino, but y'all go on with your bad selves :snake

:clap:rotfl

Yeah hoping...and wishing...................have you guys seen the in hand USO Cap and Fury??????

The final figure is going to kick ass and i'm going to laugh. no wait, i already am!

:goodpost: :exactly:

We'll be serving Crow.

I think this latest prototype is what we're getting. I actually prefer this to the Spider-Man 3, just because. I dunno, you have such a complex Spidey costume (a merchandisers headache for sure) and Hot Toys have given us something pretty damn detailed. I like it, I like it. All they need to do is shave 5mm off the neck posts and we're good to go.

Damn being impulsive! CornerstoneComics is wanting to charge 26.00 for canceling this crappy figure. What should I do? Feels like its almost too much to cancel now. I guess I won't order from them anymore unless I am 100% sure on something.

$26 is way cheaper than full price on something you hate, just sayin'.

Think of it as an expensive lesson in waiting.

You not having to pay the full price right now anyway, keeping it ordered isn't costing you anything. If you wish to cancel when you actually know what the actual figure they release is like then you'll lose out on that $26 knowing its for the best.

Cancel now and then like the actual product and reorder means you're losing that $26 for nothing :dunno

Though there's no NRD to lose, i'm keeping my order for another figure i'm not entirely satisfied with from pics. I'm waiting for actual final product pics before deciding. There's no rush for me to cancel based on pototype pics.

Well, I'll be honest, I usually don't nitpick figures, but this one overall is awful... saw it @ Sideshow's booth and it sticks out like a sore thumb... even my wife said it's awful...
I hope they fix it, but as of now, Tobey's Spidey is THE best 1/6 Spidey out there! :rock!

Nova; I know what you mean and would normally agree with you but I think it will take some pressure off me, I originally was thinking I didn't want to pass of it, but having not really cared all that much for the movie and with the preview so far I will be fine with letting it out of my crosshairs.

Kuzeh; Bad once wives start to notice haha,

Movie took some wind out of my sails for it...good but ultimately quite forgetable..IMO

Hey it's cool, just don't want you losing the money if you change you're mind when release pics hit :1-1:

I hear ya, its sooo easy to get into must buy or regret mode, sometimes it goes the other way. I have too many things on order as is...must slow down

That's why I think it's best to order from BBTS...no cancelation fees. Their MSRP may be a little higher than some, but their shipping prices are one of the lowest and hence, bringing the total to roughly the same as that of other stores like AlterEgo and Cornerstore.

For e.g. DX 12 on BBTS costs $239.99 with $10+ shipping, whereas AE sells him for $233.99 +$16.99 shipping. At the end of the day, BBTS provides the better deal with no cancelation fees. Only downside is they don't have rewards points.

I know, I remember arguing with someone about why you would buy it for a higher price, now I see the value of a free cancel process. Just not much interest in this any more so I guess lesson learned.

I do hope everyone realises that this is a PS enhanced composite of at least 2 different pictures..?

There's the element that is the original 'Head Sculpt Partial' shot (only without being artificially darkened, as we saw in the original teaser).

Then there is the element that is the 'New Prototype Suit', which has the terribly wrong 'abs cut-off' section, which should be curved but is now cut off almost dead straight across, but does show the new neck line.

Then there is the truly awful and hideously obvious 'Pink Blob' of a Photoshop neck, used to blend the various element together. Look closely at his Jaw Line...it is obviously cropped, and badly too.

It's a terrible photo to put out as an official picture because the manipulation is so obvious.

A comparison of the current prototype neck length from the contours of the web-break line to the jawline of compared to the suit...

Obviously the angle of the poses don't match but i tried finding the best i could from google. Looks pretty good, the figure is looking down and the film suit looking up but if you picture the figure looking up i'd say it would match quite well
