Looking good. Don't know if I'll pick him up though.

I only picked up the Mark V from IM2. Skipped on the MKIV and VI because they looked to similar to what I already own. If this one is in turn similar to those I may pass.

awesome news! a little disappointed it wasn't hulk tho,but can't wait for this one, hope they use different material for the "panties" to prevent color fading, i know some ppl didn't get their ht ironman fading problem, but hey, its better everyone doesn't have the issue..let the waiting begins!!

and honestly how many marks do you guys think we will see so long as they continue to make marvel movies?

Given the demand for IM and Hulk, I don't think they need to worry about getting the PO up soon, and I suspect they'll want to start cashing those ASM and TDKR checks. I'll be mild surprised if this is revealed in full that soon.

As for the Marks, they will try to milk 1-3 new armors for every film. IM is unique compared to most super-heroes in that the costume change is a part of the character and his history. Batman, Superman, Spider-Man - the most you'll see are "tweaks", but Iron Man is a toy maker's dream. For IM3, I would expect it to begin either with the Mk VI or Mk VII as the "standard" armor, with some sort of upgrade later in the film. I'd also put money down on some sort of "specialty" armor like the Mk V.

This and Loki are the only two from the Avengers line i'll be picking up, i wasn't into collecting when the iron man suits came out, the only one i have is the mark v, while its nice i'd still like a classic red and gold suit and the current aftermarket prices are sky high so i'll be pre-ordering in this first chance i get.

My first and hopefully only Iron Man until Avengers 2. Legs are looking good. Really can't wait to see what all he comes with. Most of these figures have been light on the accessories so hopefully he comes with a good assortment

Don't see much in the way of little battle damage paint chips like on many of the previous armors... The white spots at the knees possibly, but that could just be light reflecting.

Maybe we'll get 2 releases of the VII- This apparently "brand-new" off the line version, and a fully battle damaged from the end of the film?

Hopefully just interchangeable armor and not another release.

Sigh. I only, ONLY wanted to buy one Iron Man. And at first I didn't even like the Mk VII. Ugh. I can only hope that the full reveal doesn't impress me too much, or I'll be pretty much FORCED to spend my money on this.

Yeah, I would hope for that too... But didn't all the others that had interchangeable battle damage parts have at least some paint chipping on the non-interchangeable bits? Little chips on the feet, knees, etc? It would just seem odd to have no damage at all on these parts... It would make the swappable pieces really stand out quite a bit.

Guess it is all specualtion for now. With the amount of damage the VII takes, I almost wouldn't mind a separate release though.

Wow! Can't say that I expected this guy so soon. I figured the behind the scenes pic meant he'd be a way off, but we'd know he was indeed coming. What this means though, is HT will have the full Avengers team at SDCC

I expect they'll reveal Hulk then along with some more TDKR figures. HT is on fire!

All of the Ironman figures have looked great but I have managed to stick to just one (my MK IV) but this one is getting very very tempting. I may have to give in.
