I can see being upset about a straight reissue, but if the character has different armors and is as popular as he is i don't see a reason to complain. they are new figures.

A new figure you would also likely _____ about. Hot Toys can only make so much of things that don't sell well and things like the Iron Mans and Nolan Batman stuff makes it possible for them to do another things that don't sell so well and they know won't sell so well.

All these Iron Man figures "taking up spots" are bringing in money that's making it possible to have "more spots".

I don't get why ppl feel the need to go into a thread just to say they don't want or are not interested in the product

while, to some degree, I am tired of it too, it's not like the MK7 wasn't going to happen. HT is obviously tring to get out all the avengers so iron man was expected to come up sooner or later. just like the next month will see the ASM figure revealed then we'll probably get a reveal every 2 weeks for TDKR items. after that, hopefully we'll see items from other licenses

Iron man was the one that I was actually looking forward to the most more than Cap since this will be my only Iron Man figure

You can't get everything you want… and the lack of other licenses having any focus right now is a result of Avengers as a whole not Iron Man specifically. I'm sure we'll see other stuff after the big Avengers reveal is over. And actually we already are. Namely the Joker and Spider-Man stuff.

Also what you want is more of stuff that's already been made. Just different characters. That's not that much different from me wanting different Iron Man suits.

Hot Toys are just following the money.....they can currently make far more from Iron Man/Avengers characters than several other franchises combined.

It sucks if you don't like those movies but it makes perfect sense from a business POV.

The Mark VII will be my 4th HT Iron Man and will go nicely with my other Avengers.

I'll be intrested to see if they've fixed the fading issue that's ocurred on several of the previous red & gold armors and I'd also like a new Tony Stark headsculpt to be included.

…what a lot of people seem to fail to appreciate is that "following the money" in cases like these… means more people get the products that they want. The reason these things make money is that there's people that want to buy them. I'm sorry if what you want to buy isn't as popular and thus less likely to be made, but you can hardly expect to be given special treatment.

Outside of the Iron Man line and a few aliens and monsters HT makes, the vast majority of what they and the rest of the 1/6 scale companies make is of no interest to me. I have very specific tastes that veer more towards the stylized, more heavily designed, or unrealistic sort of stuff.

I have no interest in any of the licenses jackieboyshead's mentioned or actually much any interest in any licensed anything. That doesn't mean I am angry other people do get the toys they want. To me it's just so much negativity for no constructive reason. And quite frankly comes off as a bit like childish whining about not getting what you want.
