do all these conversions mean sideshow has an idea of how many they expect to get in stock. and more importantly, when they will get the MK VII?

the supplier would have to give them numbers in order for them to know how many conversions they can accommodate....so yes i would imagine so

That's cool! The cool thing about Frank n Sons is that you can talk some of the merchants down on price. Got a First Avenger Cap for $160. :yess:
And there's this food cart that sells bacon wrapped hot dogs.

Lol I buy those hot dogs in LA. You have a Facebook?

I go to frank and sons all the time. You actually talk them down? Every time I try and talk them down they get mad and say I'm not selling to you now. There's this one seller who is very rude and way over prices his stuff. I think he has a pony tail. And he is towards the front of the isle and he is rude.

Is like some sellers really don't want to sell their products haha

I know who you're talking about. He has that huge display case and is across from the loading dock area? His HT are overpriced and so is the guy directly across from him. I usually go to the smaller guys in the middle. They'll have 1 or 2 for sale and I'll ask them questions about the figure and about HT. Pretend to act clueless and see how much they know. The less they know the easier it is to negotiate. Always shoot for at least 10% of the price as a discount if not higher. Pay in cash and they'll usually not charge tax.

Strange, I find the pony tail guy nice to me. I talked him down my Milk War Machine to $320 and Black Widow for $230 two weeks ago. He have all of the other Iron Man 1-6 in his booth, but they did sounded kind of low to me compared to Ebay prices because I think the toys are open box and all displayed in his glass cabinet. He have lots of the Hot Toys stuff compared to the EchoBaseToy booth across from him.

Btw, I like that vietnamese food fan outside the entrance! I always get the fried chicken and the cheeseburger with bacon when I am done. I like to eat it along the way back to my home in Long Beach. :rotfl

Glad you got a great deal. I think he does sell the ones standing in the display. I'll walk around the complex and try to find the best price and his are a little high but more reasonable than the one booth with all the customs. The echobase guy always looks bored.:rotfl
I got to try the Vietnamese cart one day.

Depends which one your speaking of. I have the t-600 signed by Martin Laing and the t-600 concept version. I love both.
I have the Martin Laing one and it's so underrated. For the other do you mean the T700 or the factory diorama? The 1/4 Endo looks amazing and I'm hoping to get a great deal at sdcc.
