I dont get why individuals are outraged. You had a year, 12 months, 365 days, to get one. No one is making you order it. Dont buy it, move aside so the next guy can buy it.

Who is outraged It's all part of the game if you don't PO a figure. I don't blame them for raising the price, but you don't have to like it.

Good for bbts selling out. Same deal when the marked up Hawkeye for for $260. I bought one at the inflated price, now $260 looks like a bargain for him.

You guys forget, there are collectors with deep pockets who dont have time to look for a deal, they want it now. A big reason I dont like selling crap is I sell cheap out of principle and people turn around and sell the item for profit. It would make you cry if I told you how many issues of Walking Dead #1 me and brother had and what we sold them to "friends" for.

Well, I got on the waitlist for the EX on May 17th and went on the list for the regular on August 14th. Hopefully, one of them goes through for me. My regular go to place sold them so fast in their store that they didn't even end up putting any of them online. Thankfully, I have the Battle Damaged EX Promo figure coming at least.

Anyone who has been buying Hot Toys for any time now should know that its best to preorder and stick with it, as after market prices always go up.

Now when you consider how hot Iron Man and Avengers stuff is, this goes double for them.

If you even think you want it, you should PO it, because if you wait, thinking you will just grab one later, you better set aside money for at least a 30% mark up when it hits the market.
BBTS was being very nice offering what they had left for 329.00. They could have asked for 400 and still sold out.
I PO'ed mine way back, as I knew I had to have it. I should be getting mine Wednesday per UPS.

I've been buying Hot Toys since the first Predator and Colonial Marine figure kits and I've never had to pre-order anything in advance in order to get the figures I've wanted for retail price or less.

I think some of these changes might be due to Sideshow's new rules that make it harder for retailers to make a profit on their items by reducing the amount of units retailers can order and limiting the discount margin they're allowed to offer. Retailers have to resort to new ways to turn a profit, and selling in stock items for a higher profit margin, is one way of doing that. I think this limit is also creating a false sense of scarcity for collectors as well. They see these things sell out at retailers and start going into panic mode, but I'm betting most waitlist reservations will be fulfilled, which in turn will lead to more money for Sideshow since they're holding all the stock in house rather than giving it to the retailers.

You will not be disappointed. I thought everyone was over hyping this figure by saying he's the best IM to date. Totally true.

Well this will be one highly souight after suit- he won't wear it in Avengers 2- he's replaced it with tons of other armors. So this MAY be it, we'll see. Unless HT does a diecast version- wayyy down the road
