That's exactly what I need is a helmeted stark for this figure. Any ideas where someone can get one?

I got this knock off on ebay for 45 bucks. Not perfect but it does the trick.

Looking to buy my first Iron Man. I want to be one and done. Mark 43 looks great, so does the III, but the VII is my favorite of all his armors. Obviously these are no longer available for retail, so I'm looking to the secondary market. At this point, would it be safe to say that any that I find brand new, never taken out of the box, will have the pink panties and corroded batteries?

Also, what are your guys thought on diecast vs plastic? I'm very new to this, sorry for all the questions!

This is a great armor to start with. And I say START with because you won't be one a done :rotfl. This was my first one as well and 16 marks later still my favorite. I bought it brand new and its just as shiny red as the day I got it. Haven't heard any pink panty stories with this one. Just a few mention slight color fade in the hands from being kept in the box for too long. I think the color fade problem is mainly marks IV and VI . my mk IV has the faded panties but I bought it used that way.

Ah yeah. Sorry about that. I completely forgot. I'll post it in the sell section. Thanks.

My MK VII has been in the box since I got him. No pink panties or fading of the hands. My Mark VI had slight fading of the panties, but not bad and it does not detract overall from the figure. If HT's releases a diecast MK VI, I will get it.

For those "old" iron man figure from hot toys it's much safer to buy those out of box and with batteries removed. Cause HT used to and still using cheap batteries which leaks. And they will leak if brand new keep in box for couple years no matter what.

Don't take the risk when you spend pig money on these pricy toys.

This is identical to my experience with the same armors (same marks), except mine have been on display in a sealed glass case with no direct sunlight. My Mark 3 still has dark maroon rubber as well, seven years later. Always try to minimize exposure to air and UV.

And HT still uses cheap batteries. The warmer and more humid the climate, the sooner they corrode.

Thanks for the pics. Is it just me or does the clear eye piece on the faceplate look like it has a yellowish tint?

I think that is due to the background, I took the photo on top of the shipping package, and the older faceplate is located on the sculpt.
Cool, so you can confirm that it's 100% clear then? How is the paint match with the Hot Toys helmet?

Okay my mistake!
It is indeed yellow/goldish of colour so not clear! Sorry for the confusion! It just lights up so brightly, that I thought it must have been clear all the time.
I do think tho, when looking at the back, you could switch out the plastic between the two faceplates.
Hope this helps you out!

Thanks for checking for me. That's an odd choice, I wonder why they'd do that. :/

Edit: I just reached out to them on Facebook, turns out they're yellow because of the LED behind them and the solo faceplate is clear. $15 USD shipped overseas.
