I’m curious about the store where he got the paint. Why would they even have that!

Michael’s Employee: “Yeah, sorry. We’re all out of the green body paint. There was a Packers game...”

Hulk Enthusiast: “What else do you have?”

Michael’s Employee: “Well, we’ve still got some of that radiation-resistant stuff the government uses to paint ICBMs.”

Hulk Enthusiast: “Sold.”

He got famous out here... Were in all the papers, and not in the most respectful way...

Hulk is the most anticipating figure for me. I like the Hulk but after watching the Avengers I'm now a "Avengers" movie Hulk fan. My favorite Avengers is Captain America, but I gotta say Hulk stole the show. My son said the same.

They just perfected CG tech with Hulk, thats why he looks the best

One small difference is that he had body and facial hair. Little details like that are easily overlooked, but I imagine your brain knows something is amiss when they are left out.

I also think that it helps for Hulk to be in a more fantastic film. With Hulk and Incredible, he was often the only "unreal" thing on screen. He stood out, it was easier for your brain to pick out the fakiness. With Avengers, there's CGI everywhere, lots of heros in colorful costumes, aliens in flying chariots, agents playing Galaga - he just blends in better.

And they should do a "Loki in floor" base.

Hulk is the most anticipating figure for me. I like the Hulk but after watching the Avengers I'm now a "Avengers" movie Hulk fan. My favorite Avengers is Captain America, but I gotta say Hulk stole the show. My son said the same.

I feel the same way! (Iron man is my favorite movie Avenger, but Hulk really stole the show).

The Marvel Select Hulk is an amazing figure, I swapped out the head on mine though.

This figure will send my girlfriend green when she realises how much I will be paying for it

Was thinking of picking up one of the detolf ikea units, will this even fit?! Might need its own unit.

Think that's optimistic, but I'd settle for a Hill, a Coulson or a Chitauri teaser.

Out of the 2 without swapping head, which one do you like better?

It's actually the Hasbro Gamma Strike Hulk figure head, it's a pointless figure but the head is really nice and it's 10" scale so it works nicely with the Marvel Select body.

Overall, I like the Select figure the most of my Avengers Hulk figures, it's just a great looking piece, it's size gives it a strong presence and I especially like that he has two fist hands where most Hulk figures, including the Walmart Hulk, have one open hand and one fist. If you can snag the Walmart one for retail or close to it, it's a lot of fun and you can pose it far more than the Select Hulk, but overall, if you've got the Select, you have the best in my book.

Well if you're thinking of it to get Hulk in scale to the other characters at 3 3/4", way too big.

Here are my 4 Hulks, taken before the head swap.

The smallest one is from the 3 3/4" line, far left is Walmart, it's an 8" figure so way too big. Avengers Hulk is about 9-10 feet tall so should be about 1.5 times the size of the others.

There is a 6" Hulk, Mighty Battlers Hulk, that would be in scale to those.

I picked up the Walmart Cap last night, and Hulk is bigger, but to me, not quite enough, and then the Marvel Select is almost a bit too much bigger than him, so either way you'd be out of scale to each other, just a matter of which end you'd rather be on.

is that center Hulk the MS that replaced this one, I'm kinda confused now (doesn't take much, wife said if I was a girl I would be a blonde one)

Yup, that was the previous one, the new one is Avengers based. The stock head is ok, but it doesn't quite capture the Kirby qualities of Avengers Hulk like the Hasbro one.
