True, if you are still on the waitlist there is no NRD and if it converts they will send you an email letting you know you have a couple days to cancel before they charge you.

If you're on the wait list you haven't actually got a definite order for that item until it converts, so if it's not yet converted you effectively don't have a real order for that item. All you have is a place in line for any left overs. They aren't going to charge an NRD on an order they can't fulfill.

Tbh the chest battle damage piece is the same as the regular mark 7. Only thing that makes this figure is the base and head sculpt. I think the regular mark 7 is a much better purchase after careful consideration.

I for one am still very excited to get this figure. I modified an extra faceplate for my regular Mark7, and have another extra faceplate I plan to mod for this BD Mark7, as the only issue I have with the Mark7 is the size of the eyes on the faceplate.
This is going to look ****ing awesome with the rest of my collection, and will really stand out with the unique base and the battle damage, as all the rest of my IM figures are displayed clean.
I am also very impressed by the look of the RDJ head sculpt, as IMHO it looks spot on and is the best HS yet from any HT IM figures.
Come on SSC and ship mine already...

Thanks for posting that. Best look at him I've seen so far.
I have to be honest I don't think it looks all that great, he's just blackened and dulled up by the black washes. The proto whilst obviously photoshopped had a wonderful metallic feel to it, just like the CG version in the movie.

The base also looks pretty grey and flat even in comparison to the recent convention pics. I think the Downey sculpt is the best part of this.
It's definitely worth the straight Sideshow cost but not anyway good enough to warrant the crazy prices that crazy collectors are paying for it on ebay.
