so now there's a moral obligation when making a purchase or else the purchase should not be made?

the WORLD of retail buys low and sells high or else why would anyone buy just to resell?

Exactly. Some folks get morality mixed up with free market society.

Well there is morality to be had within a free market. That's why we have rules about insider trading and monopolies. And scalping could be and sometimes is immoral if and when a scalper has unfair access to a product. If, for example, a guy at a convention both sets aside lots of stock for a scalper friend and doesn't give the regular consumer access to it, so that the scalper can buy it all and sell it on a secondary market, that is immoral in a market place, because they are artificially bypassing the agreed upon market between consumer and producer to create their own market.

I bought it to keep it. To buy it to sell it would be stupid. You buy something because you want it, otherwise don't buy it.

Are you ****ing joking? So people who buy and flip real estate and people who buy and sell stock are stupid? They are some of the richest people on earth, and it's all based on buy low, sell high. The injustice you speak of is the life blood of this and every country pal. You need a serious wake up.

That never happened here.
Everyone had the same access to this one. It just sold out fast.
It wasn't "stock held back" for anyone.

I know. I wasn't saying it did, only that in certain cases an issue of morality and justice can be applied to a free market when the ' free' part is skewed. In this case it's all good. Hell, weren't they even limited to one per customer?

Often, the "free market" has nothing to do with morality. It is divorced from morality because morality so often gets in the way of profit. When you are out for profit, and something frequently gets in the way, you tend to ignore it or excuse it from all of your considerations.

A lot of businesses are immoral, or involve a lot of immoral practices, and so the "free market" is largely amoral.

Not all businesses are immoral, however. Some businesses are run by people who are concerned about being moral and issues of morality.

Flipping houses means renovating a house with improvements to increase it's value, and then making a profit off of your creativity. That is a great thing. I support it.

Stocks aren't the same thing as figures, because stocks exist ONLY for the purpose of profit. They have no other purpose.

So when you joined the morality police, did you have to provide you own high horse and soapbox?

Just because an individual actually in concerned with morality does not make them a member of "the morality police". I suppose there are so few people who are concerned about morality when it comes to certain things that every person who is concerned about morality might SEEM like they are a member of the morality police. I'm just a concerned citizen among some who are not.

The problem is, you seem to be labelling everyone that disagrees with you as immoral which is frankly bull****. You don't know anyone in this thread, but have deemed yourself better than them.

I don't recall saying anyone here was immoral. I did speak of immoral behavior, and if some practice it, and interpret that I am calling them immoral, they are misinterpreting.

A person is not defined by just one of their actions. There are many actions that people take in a day, and not all of those are immoral. Most things that most people do are not immoral.
That doesn't make the immoral things they do any less immoral, however.

i dont know why anyone here would continue this pointless discussion with a communist.

I don't believe in communism.
I do know how the world works. There are just some parts of it I have complete disdain for.

I suppose I am somewhat socialist, but I think that people should receive rewards and payment fairly, according to what they EARN, by contributing, not based upon what they take, by exploiting other people in some way or another.

Well, the figure looks pretty good. No pack out, so the box had the usual damaged corner. It is a little better than expected, but the weathering isn't as nice as the proto. This figure is mostly about the base.

Yes please. Give your review now that you've insulted everyone here, then denied that you did so. I'm sure everyone is on the edge of their seats to get your opinion. :wave

only huh? Stocks used throughout the business world to moderate corporate capital. Upon purchasing, an individual will receive limited management rights within the corporation, and may also be subject to dividends or profits. They may also lose value. But the management rights will not change. That is the point of stocks.
