Finally had time to open this up. Fantastic looking figure. Could have used a bit more weathering but the metallic finish is a nice change compared to the wash of gloss we usually get. Real pain in trying to pose this on the base though. Head sculpt is also fantastic.

Decided to but them all out! Bit dark again due to UK weather.
I now feel I need the new Mech Test TS.

Yeah I know they don't list them which is odd.
I posted a pic of 3 Mk 7's all with the 3 different cover and swap out display options for anyone who wanted to see them side by side by side.

The head sculpt on VII wins hands down, the last 2 or 3 doesn't even come close. This figure looks best posed w/ the head sculpt.

Some more ideas for you all... I prefer Cap in the base as his stride looks better with Tony knelt beside him... Liking this look, for tonight anyway.. Struggling to get to grips with this one.. I think heavy bright lights makes a big difference. Let me know what you think..!

Seriously the figure in hand looks nothing like that, nor does it look anything like the worst in hand pic you could find, you have to see this in person to truly see how amazing it is

I dunno I feel it looks like a custom regular MKVII they should of went all out and destroyed it like how it was at the end of the movie.

Yea that's what I keep saying, in hand this thing is really eye catching. Pictures don't do this figure justice.

just got a hulk and im amazed the base seems to have been made for him. the 2 flat parts of it fit with hulks feet!

um. WOW. you just discovered something very interesting.

i believe this base was in fact designed for hulk originally. i think they realized it would push his price higher, so they scrapped it, and gave it to an exclusive mk VII, hence the increase in price from 249 to 300 for a BD version. the extra price is for that base, not because its BD or limited edition. HT doesnt price like that. look at IM3 Stark. its $280 but comes with a huge amount of accessories. a regular human figure like stark would be 180, like coulson. so clearly the base was the factor in the price.

also, the sheer size is def a design for hulk, its a PERFECT fit in scale and the foot placement is undeniable proof.

if i had a hulk, id keep him on this. this base is too big for a human sized figure. 100% believe this was designed for hulk. very interesting find...

It does make sense. As cool as the base is and as cool as BD Mk7 is, they don't particulRly look right together. However Hulk looks perfect with the base.

ya im thinking they did it for same reason on price. but also seeing how some avengers came with chitai weapons that would go with the future chirati figure. good way for them to get people to buy them all lol. sneaky sneaky. but when i got the bd mk7 i thought hulk would go perfect with and in a week i went and got him. and to my amazement his feet lined up perfectly.
