Mulitiple threads??? You be staking me or something???

Yeah I like to make predictions. But whenever I see someone else predict something and they don't put "IMHO" I just know that they are guessing becasuse it's Hot Toys after all and they aren't the best at keeping their customers up to date.

NEVER do I make a condescending joke towards anyone who is simply making a prediction. I either agree-disagree and give them my thoughts-or simply don't reply at all.

So, please from now on do not reply to my posts.

I disagree with all your terrible predictions Toystradamus. There, now I've met your criteria to respond to your posts.

Fark yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!! full battle damage. Can't wait to pre-order. This will look awesome.

Agreed! My problem with the previous battle damaged figures was always how big areas of the figure, like the abdomen or the lower legs, never had a scratch. Glad they're doing this for those of us who want a full BD option without resorting to customization.

I'm not gonna lie, that teaser e-mail from last week was ****ed up. I about **** myself when I saw it and realized it arrived like 2 hours before that.

I know , and then they send another email for preorder for life size Mark42, and I was like DAMN IT!! ENOUGH ALREADY!!:slap....:lol

SSC version of never cry wolf.

I am in that camp as well. I plan to get both MK VII figures so I can display a clean MK VII and switch it up from time to time with a true BD MK VII.

Not a chance it will be limited to 3000 pieces. It would have been announced already if it was.

IMO :lol

it was said it was 3000 in a video that was posted a few pages back with Howard talking, somebody translated bits and pieces and informed us that it was 800pc. in asia and 2200pc. for the rest of the markets.

thus highly limited as SSC page states, I would GUESS SSC would get maybe half or less of that 2200??? ... "I.M.O."

I would display them both, most likely on different shelves/locations... they are both awesome in their own rights and should be showed off...

So nervous waiting for this dumb email PO....

Any Thoughts when it will be ready for shipment????? certainly hope its not in February with the mark 42, that would like forever long!

That's a great point. They are both awesome figures. In all honesty, I will probably find a way to display both once I get them in hand. :lol

Are you referring to this?

Hot Toys is proud to present the Avengers *can't make out the next two words* cont'd Iron Man Mark VII (Battle Damaged Version)! The first 800 pieces will be available in Hong Kong *can't translate the next couple of words*. The remaining 2200 figures will be made avaialbe in specific markets around the Iron Man 3 movie launch date!

:lecture

This is why posting opinions as fact sucks.

As you can see the first quoted post, it was actually Jeff that posted the fake translation.

Then, styleznma takes it as its posted, factual, and the cycle continues.

I don't think anyone is trying to be a jerk to jeff. It would be nice if he could see that all that is being asked, is that he states his opinion as an opinion.

If you're referring to my translation Styleznma, then I do apologize. I don't know Chinease, or whatever language that article was in. It was a joke. Sorry.

The video with Howard talking is in Cantonese. There is no new information in it. In fact, it's a very simple video where they ask him about how he got into the business, etc. He uses the Mark VII to just talk about figures in general as more of collectors items instead of toys.

:slap.. this thread is getting funny for sure with all this speculation on price release and production counts. I am jonesin like the rest of you for this to get placed up for PO...:yess:

I knew the post was a joke too, as most did, but just like most stuff that is communicated through text, you have to be clear about what you are communicating.

We are free to speculate and joke as much as we want. I enjoy it actually. we should try to be clear when we are doing it so someone who is looking for information, doesn't end up with misconstrued speculation.

IMHO...:rotfl....:thud:

At least it's not Toystradumbass. "B-boy Toystradamus" sounds pretty cool actually. :lol
