action city prices are usually similar to sideshow's retail price of the item (not pre-order) give or take USD 10-20 so it should be around that region.

I have to agree on this one, the die cast are going for this price and if this version is limited then there is probably no doubt it will.

Well if it turns out to be $300+, I'm just going to be happy with getting only a regular VII. I don't like the BD THAT much.
It wasn't that long ago $300 got you two figures like the Demon/Scarecrow set.

Yeah hopefully this figure stays within $250.
Given the choice between a regular VII and a BD VII for the same price of $250, I'd still pick the regular VII, as I'd rather have a complete clean version with BD alternate parts.

The standard reaction to the price of every Hot Toys figure these days.
I thought BD was cool when it first came out but just the other day I preordered IM Mark VII. I like the cleaner version better. Besides, it comes with some battle damaged parts.

It's a pre-order unless you travel to Singapore again, it's not worth it... the locals and Malaysians will surely exceed 300...

This reasoning IMHO is the only thing that makes me think they will keep the price about the same.
I want one too, but at a certain point I may pass if it goes for 300. Just not worth it to me for the head sculpt in helmet and hands and nice chitauri base. These are the main things that attracted me to it.
We should hopefully know more soon.

I agree with you on this. I just know a lot of folks including myself will pass on it if it is 300. I would rather spend that on another Mark suit.
I am already getting the Standard Mark7, so this one has to be no more then 250, or I will pass.
