Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Suits the new 52 look though, don't you think? And he's a decent actor.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

He's too young.

Wayne was in his mid-twenties when he came back to Gotham. So no, he's not too young (32). His cranium though, is simply too massive. I mean, have you seen it??

He needs a big one. He's the world's greatest detective for Pete sake.

What do you mean when he came back to Gotham, what are you referring to? I think they'll choose an actor who is somewhat older.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Meaning Batman is in his prime in his early 30's, hence why he's perpetually 32-35 in the comics. They also wouldn't want an old man opposite Cavill.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

I think a young actor (early 30's) will be okay for Bats this time.
Cavill's only 30 anyway and he worked for supes.

I never said i wanted a 76 year old Batman, I meant older as in more experienced.

That's why I reiterated that Bruce Wayne came back to Gotham at 25. At 32, which is the age of the guy you said was "too young", Batman is pretty seasoned. :1-1:

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

Chris pine sure as hell doesn't look like he's 32. :lol

Which is why he'd be brilliant as a billionaire playboy. He has that boyish charm and yet he can be dark as night.

Also, if by old you mean experienced, google Karl Pilkington.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

This co-op picture is a mistake so early on in a new franchise movie, specially one that has had as chequered a past as the Superman Franchise. Do DC have such little faith in Superman's ability to draw good box-office that they are shoehorning Batman into the mix prematurely? I think it says alot about it. It seems that a lot of people here recognise this too.

Still if we have no choice (and it sure looks that way now) and are talking casting, the world could do far worse than Chris Pine as Wayne. Batman need a strong masculine mouth, which Bale never had (hence the 'cancer throat' voice) and Pine (and even Keaton and Kilmer) has in spades.

Man, that headsculpt is just epic win.

Body looks a bit bucket-a55y and wide-leggy still there however.

What does that even mean??

This is how he looks now... the photos in the white background up there are old.

Re: MMS200 - Man of Steel: Superman Collectible Figure

But it's not? Any skinnier and he'll look wrong.
