I'm thinking Hot Toys needs to hire you and other skilled freaks on how to apply and do battle damage/weathering. Fantastic job JazzInc. Love your work.

I finished my weekend project. Repaint, weathering and Bare Metal treatment of all the parts that are supposed to be metal to make them actual metal. Please let me know what you guys think!

Damn, man :thud:

I used to do a lot of scale modelling when I was younger, so I know a fair few tricks for doing realistic weathering with oil paints, trompe l'oeil effects, sponges, pigment powders, etc but I'd never have the courage to try it on something this expensive. Gorgeous work.

Makes me wonder if Hot Toys realise they could make twice as much money simultaneously releasing clean and weathered versions of... oh god I've said too much! :Flush

i know its a classic question...but i need opinion, if you have to choose one , Mark 42 or heartbreaker>>???

I'd go with the mark 42 if I only chose 1, it looks more like an Iron Man suit than Heartbreaker..., when I look at the Heartbreaker suit I think it looks more like some kind of humanoid alien than a Tony Stark Iron Man.

If I had to choose 1, I'd pick the 42 or Silver Centurion just for the Tony HS.

But coolness wise, I think Heartbreaker has them all beat :)

dangg..there is no definitive answer. i agree both are nice and cool, i guess i just buy both....

Yeah just buy em all like "most" of us here hehe anyway if you really just need to choose one then just choose Mark 42 imagine the battle pose you can do Mark 42 vs Mark 43 with red Led eyes that is being controlled by Ultron =))

I chose neither...I bought the Silver Centurion instead. My rule is no headsculpt, no deal. Wasn't a fan of the 42 as I find it too gimmicky...

There is a part of me that wished he put on the Heartbreaker during the fight...

Hey guys, so i have an issue with one of the articulated-fingered hands. The thumb on one of them was so stiff that it couldn't bend at all, and i'm afraid that I'm gonna break it if I push it further. Does anyone know how to loosen it up? Thanks!

Most of the fingers on the articulated hand was stiff on mine. Wiggled them all until they were loose. Just gotta work it. It'll be fine.
