So that'll mean I won't be seeing it before April then, realisticly!?! Retailers in the UK get stock from Sideshow about 2 months after they themselves start selling something..., currently my retailer says to expect my figure in February but now it's sounding unlikely, originally the expected in stock estimate was December though so another delay wouldn't surprise me.

Yep, April, or even May, I'm afraid. Sorry mate. :duff

Oh well, not actually paid this one off yet anyway..., I guess there's no rush now. lol ;) I'll have Heartbreaker & Hot Rod delivered to me next month & a 2 figure month is definitely awesome so waiting longer for this 1 isn't so bad, who knows maybe I'll get another 2 figure month & Starboost will turn up with Igor. :)

Fence sitting on this one. On one hand part of me wants to do a display where Igor looks like he's supporting a display on top...perhaps a row of hall of armors. Another part of me wants to stick with a clean look where all armors displayed are each in its own hall of armor. Cos if I go the route where igor props a shell up then I can also consider displaying armors like the red snapper and striker that are too big for hall of armors on the same level as the igor. So with one route I save a ton of money...and with the other route I may potentially have a very kick ass display.

Any thoughts? Will Igor actually look like he's supporting the shelf above or will he simply look like he's wedged in between to shelves? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Do the Iggy prop display. :rock The HOA display has been done nine thousand times already.

I don't think the blocks/pillars on Igors back are moveable so I'm not sure it'd look like it was propping a shelf up, depends what kind of poses can be achieved though..., I doubt this will sell out very quickly so maybe waiting to see some in hand pictures & what people can do with the suit, might be handy for you before deciding? I'm getting it regardless, just like the suit. :)

Yeah great IM piece but dam $510, that's a bit much IMO for this guy, then again Iron monger was like $460 right? Dam price hikes.

It would be cool if they moved.

Monger was $480. It's a lot to ask for a suit that saw such limited action, but Igor will obviously stand out in one's collection, much like Monger and the pending Whiplash Mark II and HB.

Monger was worth the $480 - missed it, but Igor will look awesome in the collection. Wish Igor was in the movie more, but I wish there were a lot of different things in IM3. Oh well... Whiplash Mark II looks crazy and a must have also, but I will wait for the release.... These PO are killing me.

My bad, so $480 but IMO I feel you got more bang for your buck there with monger, with the opening head, but either way igor will stand out and is a pretty cool piece to own.

I was planning on just resting the two silver blocks flat against the upper surface and adjusting the joints in the legs to give the illusion of Igor propping up the shelf. Makes me kind of think though. In the last few pictures I've seen of Igor in the shows he's always standing more upright compared to the initiate release pictures. I'm wondering if the closer to production units have actually seen some changes that alter the articulation a bit. I haven't seen Igor in his head low, back high, ape-like pose for a while. I'm hoping he can still achieve this pose because it just looks so classic cinema black and white Igor and that is the most appealing part for this character to me. If indeed HT has changed the articulation then I can also forget about the shelf propping idea because those two silver blocks must sit at the very top of the figure and the head tucked below to achieve that look. Hopefully that's not the case and HT just wants to display the figure standing for a more imposing display...time will tell.

I've had a look at the most recent pictures from events & I think you'll be ok to do what your talking about as the silver blocks are definitely above the head. :) If you do a google search you'll see what I mean (tried uploading a picture but it's not working).
