Almost all the iron man figures have hidden light switches in their head and chest/back.

Oh I understand perfectly, I just don't think that's much of an excuse for what to me seems a poor choice of switch location, particularly with the hands. If I have to take panels off to get to switches, I'd hope they'd make it as easy as possible. Even the cover on the head is "pegged in" and requires digging around the edges to get it up. If I were to be doing that often (I won't) I'd be concerned about scuffing the edges of it over time. Would be much easier if that part were magnetized at the very least.

I didn't even bother inserting the batteries on either Starboost or Igor, Hot Toys lacks functionality when it comes to working the lights of its figures...so I just don't bother anymore

the shoulder joints on my igor are reasonably strong though.
it will not slid down easily should i raise it. seems like your
igor has some issue on the shoulder joint.
