Even if it were to sell out it will still drop in value over the next 12 months. History repeats itself.

It's not that I couldn't afford it, god knows I can, it's the arrogance of HT/SS thinking that any price can be slapped onto something and everyone will buy. I know people will buy and that's cool, but as a collector I draw the line on what I would like in my collection,mand what I am willing to spend.

I know I wont be paying a dime over $250 for this, and even that seems to high to me, but I think I could live with it. I have Celtic predator already. To me these avp preds all look like clones standing next to one another in my collection. That's why I sold scar.

Makes me wonder how much Chopper will run for. This may be an exclusive, but HT has had a history of raising their standard figure prices to match the con ones.

unless they include an extra bio which they wont, I cant imagine Chopper being anymore than $250 and even thats pushing it, this is just high because its an exclusive

If they charge this for ancient im scared to see what wolf will be at I mean they are crazy for whatever are charging for the bat and its not even 1/6 I wonder what a queen 1/6 would retail for

I guess I could kinda see an argument being made that Celtic was $250 and Ancient has everything Celtic has PLUS that awesome spear with the impaled Xenomorph head and it's an exclusive. Surely those additions warrant the extra $25? That being said, I already thought $250 for Celtic was pushing it(even though I did buy him) so it kinda renders that argument moot for me.

For me personally he is just too similar to Scar and Celtic to justify the price, but I certainly don't begrudge anybody else who wants him and is willing to pay the price. I am a bit of a completest and usually feel a strong want or desire to have a "complete collection." I know I need to break myself of this mentality so not buying this guy will be therapeutic for me. Hopefully

Well SSC had Celtic for 259.99 Ancient is 274.99. But I agree these guys shouldn't cost so much since they are just re using same parts minus the mask.

You know really even though it does seem high the more I think about it I don't think it's out of line. Considering this is an exclusive and basically having all the accessories as the Celtic Predator and the new spear with the impaled Alien head the price isn't that out of line with what's been charged for similar figures. Still not sure if I'll get it though.

i doubt it will sell out in a week. they already made heaps of this(recyle and rehash bits). even with the scalpers and hoarders, it takes quite a while before they suck the preds dry in the market these days. unlike the early days where HT was still in the puberty stages.

Chopper will prolly cost as much as Celtic since its the same figure minus the two head skulls on the stick and the bio mask. I hope they don't include the grid alien stand to keep the cost down.
