So much for my Spacetrooper. Has a paint scrape on the visor. Looks like he's going back early next week. Such a shame when these figures are messed up.

I want one but Sandtroopers come first. I hope they stick around to when ready to buy.

I caved and just ordered. This is too good of a figure to pass up.

Bjjer, Sandtrooper and this figure will make an awsome display👍

Ordered the super, rare limited edition JJ version of him. Very happy.

OK, so I made it. Still rare. Still limited edition.....of 1 (so far). I had to though. If any troop needed a separate portrait for giggles, it was this one. Took me the better part of the day cause the Panzer guy had a magnetic neck, which I didn't know cause I just bought the head. I wasn't familiar with that license. I was just shopping for covered, realistic heads. Got a neck, did my p-i-t-a mods and I got my result. Here's a couple more:

The neck sits as such so both heads are interchangeable now. The hose just gets put where I want it. Bring on Luke!

UPS delivered my space trooper to the wrong address. :slap Called sideshow and they said they would look into it. I've never had a problem before so I hope they come through.

So I noticed these helmets really have the bubble lenses like the TIE Pilot. The regular stormtrooper seems more flat in comparison, closer to the Sandtrooper.

Yes these have green bubble lenses. The regular Stormtroopers have bubble eyes, but they are just part of the helmet sculpt painted black. The actual lenses look much better.

Where does this idea come from? The Hot Toys Stormtrooper lenses are a separate, dark green plastic piece glued into the helmet. :dunno

I was wondering the same thing. Perhaps he is referencing the SSC Stormtrooper?

My bad. You are correct. I was looking at my regular Stormtroopers and the way the light was hitting them, I could not see the green tint and they have a matte finish to them that made them look painted on. I just pulled them out of the detolf and examined them closer and I see that they are separate lenses now. I thought it was odd that HT would have a completely different helmet between the regular ST and the Spacetrooper.

Do you know which helmets are supposed to have the more bubble look to them? The Luke trooper has the more bubble look to the lenses too compared to the regular stormtrooper I have. I guess I'm just surprised that the regular ones didn't have them (if they were supposed to).

Hero helmets seen on Luke, Han and some Stormtrooper close-ups had bubble lenses; stunt helmets (most of them including Sandtroopers) had flat green-tinted gels.
