Got mine the other day and I really like it. Has anyone taken the little Avengers symbol off of his shoulders yet? If so, how did you do it so as not to damage the fabric?

I haven't taken them off of mine and I probably won't. However, I'm not sure who it was for certain that said it, but I think I recall in the BV thread someone state that what they did to take them off on their BV figure was they heated them up just a bit with a hair dryer, and then peeled them right off.

Cool. Thank you. I initially wasn't going to remove them, but I watched the movie again last night, and I really like the costume without them.

WOW!!

This is my first Marvel Hot Toy/Sideshow Collectible and the bar has been set! Last year. I barely missed out on the Age of Ultron Cap and I told myself I wouldn't let the next one pass me by.

I absolutely LOVE this figure! Honestly, I had a little trouble getting the particular gloves on especially on the shield-holding hand. But it's on there the way I wanted and I'm going to keep him in my Detolf and keep the pose as is.

Anyone on the fence about this should give it a shot.

Just bought Cap earlier today before my shift. I bought him from BBTS and I'm so excited to finally have my first Hot Toys. I just hope he gets here before the week ends.

Hi, I'm considering picking up an updated version of Cap (between AoU, this, or the Battling Version). Judging from the pictures I'm seeing, is the main difference between this and the Battling Version the diorama base and the interchangeable face plates?

And the BD shield.

The main selling point for the BV I feel is the BD shield and the main selling point for the regular one is the interchangeable faceplate sculpt.

Initial thoughts:

*This is a magnificent figure. I am glad to own him.

*That Steve Rogers head is going to be in place sooner rather than later. Both heads are beautiful, but the Steve Rogers head is the bomb.

*I like the shield slung on his back. I was able to easily achieve this due to having recently brought a pair of stitches-removal tweezers home from work. {after a thorough disinfection, natch.} Itty-bitty-point tweezers. I pity the fools trying to place that hanger WITHOUT same.... yikes. With that said, the complexity of these figures is both awesome, and frightening.

*Crossbones helmet is included - yay!

HT figures are marvels of complex engineering. This is both a blessing and a curse. With that said, BRING ON BUCKY - NAOW

Timcent received my scratched shield and defective body. Should have replacements end of this week or start of next. Looking at an empty base is killing me lol. [emoji51]

Yes. This is one of the best face sculpts I've seen from HT. If I were to have my figure in an action pose, yeah I'd use the Ed Grimley face [Google it, youngsters]. But the pose I have him in where he is just standing there, the Chris Evans face sculpt is the way to go.

LOVE your display. Thanx for posting. Or not:lol - because re the pics and comments e.g. from another member "and he's not sold out yet" gonna squeeze out the funds for my first CA. Because Bucky is on PO and it's IMO unthinkable not to have CA with him:horror. I waited on WS and he's gone except secondary markets. Maybe I could wait. But this looks like the CA for me.:panic:

Thank you! :hi5: I believe so too, wish it had the white on the arms like AOU, but I can live without it. That Crossbones helmet is reallyyy nicee, and I love the fact that CA basically has 3 head sculpts. OPTIONS ARE AWESOME! I plan on modding my WS, hopefully I can get Civil War's body and head sculpt. The new "metallic" arm should be a beauty on WS.
