To close to be his son. Besides, we know in Star Wars it's possible to be called both a "son" and be a clone (boba and jengo fett) lol
I'm pretty sure Hamill doesn't mean it in a 'clone' way. :wink1:

But the best was Seb actually wishing him happy Father's Day on stage at Wizard World. :lol

Gotta say the Father's Day tweets from Hamill were pure gold, especially the hashtags he used ... like #ForlornForgottenFather and #ProudPapa :rotfl really cracked me up.

i wish we got this. But ill "settle"[emoji16] id like a masked one so ill probably buy the 1st head sculpt
Yeah, that's the way to go, I guess. The masked head sculpt is still available at a lot of places unlike the complete TWS figure. orz

Yeah I know he didn't mean clone. Lol but it was in response to pics like the one I posted that started this stuff. Besides, again, everything he said works if he was a clone anyway.

As for the masked look. I'm thinking I may cast and copy the old version of the mask and put it on the new head.

Well, I always thought the WS sculpt was pretty good - too full in the lower part of the face, but I'm happy enough with it - LOL anyway...

It's a GOOD day when you get online and see pics and you don't feel that sullen leaden feeling of DESPAIR:cool:, disgustedly knowing you are going to cancel your POs...I think? I'm very happy with this release...

Hafta spend more time STARING, but think this works...Bucky is pretty stoic thru the film and think expression etc. is going to work beautifully on the shelf.

Wonder if this fig can be posed w. Bucky actually aiming re pic? And I am KEEPING my Bucky POs *mine* *mine* *mine* 'coz it looks like HT looked after production of my favorite character *whew*. The wait has been SO long it will feel eerie having him in hand:impatient:

That poser is just lazy, or sucks.... :lol Here is another photo of that, not the best but a little better in terms of replicating that shot. So is he the next to go to waitlist on SSC? Wondering if there will be a January code to use on him before he does...

Qube just posted this video from Budget Stark on the BP thread. *__*

I refuse to click that and give that guy $$... :lol

I was set to order this straight away but seeing how much timcent wants for it.... Sorry Buck, you gonna have to wait. I'm not forking out $500 NZD for a pretty bare figure, even if it IS Bucky.

ooooh - thanx for those pics!:)

*Sigh* well, OK, for me, after STARING a lot...at the moment anyway I REALLY reluctantly have to agree (because I thought the proto shots and early 2016 toy fair shots were amazing and couldn't wait for this fig:gah:) - that there are some issues w. the sculpt or portrait or SOMETHING, and if I go feature by feature I can't even explain it, because feature by feature there is a lot of right. It's just somehow, re the production, Seb got lost I think...:dunno

Bucky_hot_toys_face_compare.jpg

Like folks have already said, something about the eyes:dunno. Well, bummer, because I assumed this would be darn-near perfect, instead of having to wait another 2,3 years re Infinity Wars to get a Bucky as stellar as CW Cap (maybe).

Maybe it is just the paint, in that re the proto box art I'd say Bucky had an expression, of sorts. I dunno...but it's not a likeness that seems off the charts, like the Dr. Strange HT seems to be. Are these individually painted? Guess it's hard to really say until he's in hand, but I wish this Bucky had been "perfect" - less generic? I will keep my POs tho - this seems like a very good fig, if not everything I was hoping for re the portrait (depending on the display angle apparently, it's definitely CW Bucky!)

Hey, thanx for posting that pic:)! Re the codes - pfffft, I'm too new at collecting to know, but I thought SSC might be offering coupons re the 12 days of Sideshow - nope, I guess it's all products. Maybe they will do something re getting people to spend tax returns?

this is the biggest nitpick ever and i honestly kinda hate myself for even noticing it, but is the sleeve on his non-metal arm a little.....short? like i dislike seeing that wrist. that's literally the only thing keeping me from canceling my preorder and spending $277 on this guy to get him early

He money grabs. Just puts out videos all the time to get views = $$$

Mmmkay. Oh well, I like his videos ... I don't really care whether or not he gets money if I view them. Doesn't seem like it's any of my business ha :dunno

He also puts out great information which makes him a vital part of the 1/6 community. I wish I could get paid for that.

Same issue w. previous WS, in certain positions. Think it's unavoidable if they are not cutting jacket sleeves long enough, but then they would be too long in other positions. I was going to try making a small band of some thin stretch fabric to put over wrist to cover joint - as least w. WS who seems to wear long-sleeved black shirts think it will just look like the shirt underneath the jacket.

I'm excited for this Bucky, unlike others, I think the head sculpt for this looks perfectly fine. But I don't collect many of these types of figures. The reason I wanted Steve and Bucky in the first place was so they could oppose Tony and Rhodey.

.. now the wait for the 3 and 46 are going to suck even more lol.

Now that I see all of the pictures lined up, I'm wondering if an eyebrow repaint could make the likeness better? The headsculpt seems to have pretty thin eyebrows, and Seb's got some pretty solid ones.

hmm that makes since I guess. Kind of a bummer since I was hoping to pose him holding his gun but that skin spot (idk what else to call it) would probably drive me crazy. The band of fabric covering it sounds like a neat idea, might try that too
