Re: Hot Toys - MMS353 D16 - CA: Civil War - Mark XLVI Collectible Figure

None so far.

According to Sideshow specs, it'll have 28 LEDs. Lots of folks are curious as to how this will be accomplished. Will each light on the figure come with a battery compartment and will they need to be turned on individually? Or will there be a new, more efficient, system of doing so?

How many are included with something like the 42? 4 LED's?

Re: Hot Toys - MMS353 D16 - CA: Civil War - Mark XLVI Collectible Figure

that's some pretty great insight. what do you think of this figure? would you have preferred some battle damage?

that's good to know. though it sort of points to a tiny problem. it'd be nice if they figured out a better way to articulate the head on some of these. or maybe give them the same up and down mobility that shotgun has or even the mark VII. it's not a complaint, just something that i hope to see improved upon in the future.

i use the landing pose quite a bit. i love putting them in that pose. i only ever really leave them like that for a day or two at a time. i think it's cool having the mark 42 do the landing pose with some of the house party armors behind it. i think i'd keep them displayed like that longer if the head was able to look up a little more.

The 45 head articulates fine.

I would have loved to see an accurate battle damaged version of this suit. There is so much subtle and not so subtle damage on the suit. It would have been great to get those cracks in the eyes and the Bucky claw marks on the chest piece. I also hope we get a black eye hs with this.

It specifically covers the work and explains some of the hurdles.

is it able to look straight ahead, or is it always looking slightly down?

that's pretty awesome.. that must've been a lot of fun. it must kind of suck though to know so much about the movie prior to its release though.

yeah, those additional pieces would be pretty awesome at the very least include the extra face plate and chest piece.

hopefully they'll go back to the mark 3 war machine and the mark 46 and make some changes to give us some great, practical, and useful accessories.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS353 D16 - CA: Civil War - Mark XLVI Collectible Figure

It has a unique neck post setup and is by far the most articulated head, except shotgun. It doesn't have the same large up down motion as shotgun but it still has pretty good movement. It's for sure an improvment over past figures.

We haven't gotten a proper, BD IM figure in a while. I think such a figure from this movie would be fitting.

Final Battle Mark 46 with new bloodied HS of RDJ with shield in chest RT accessorie would steal the show :lol

Re: Hot Toys - MMS353 D16 - CA: Civil War - Mark XLVI Collectible Figure

I'm in the seeming minority of generally preferring clean versions of figures in lieu of BD versions.

Re: Hot Toys - MMS353 D16 - CA: Civil War - Mark XLVI Collectible Figure

I prefer the clean look usually but in the case of CW I'd prefer a BD IM over a clean one. Plus the 45 can double as my clean version if need be :rolleyes2 :lol

Yeah, that's true since they're essentially the same design.

While some BD looks are cool, I generally don't prefer them because they are too scene specific. I usually try to keep my figures as a representation of the entire film as much as possible.

Even if I recreate a specific scene. :lol

It's official... This suit should be colored "Merlot" instead of Hot Rod Red. :D
