You're probably right. I was tempted to wait 2 weeks & get a further $20 off in reward points, but decided not to risk it for a $5/month savings on flex pay. Still had enough for $15 off.

Surprised it's cheaper ... I love this costume but I think I'm way too attached to civvie Wanda at this point ha I think that look has more personality

They have to have a publicity shot somehow...A pic for HT to use as reference?

Is this one going to go as fast as "Battling" Cap will, probably? I still like the AoU version better, and the CW seems similar enough to wait for in case I go that uniformed look.

Toyfair figures are available at the show first, then put up for order.

The choocolate figures at the show, then for everyone else.

The ichobod crane figure at the show, then everyone else

The Stan less figure, at the show then everyone else.

They have not done any figures where they only do a small amount at a convention and the base figure is not sold for everyone else. And that covers like 50isj exclusive figures, including multiple movie promo figures in the past.

The mkvii stealth was a movie promo and was availble at choocolate well before elsewhere.

The Chrome Copper Storm Trooper was only available at conventions, and one other retail vendor in Asia. It never came to SideShow.

I really want this one but I'm not sure if I would like the Civil War version better.

I hope they don't take forever to announce CW version. I would like the option the choose.

limited or not, this is a great figure to have in any collection. A definitive version regardless of future versions of the same thing. I couldn't say that about the 1st Aou version.

It is sad that the Russo brothers prefer a different look for Scarlet Witch. I had hoped this New Avengers version get some screen time in CW, then this IS the CW version! *sigh*

Exactly. No matter what other Scarlet Witch figures eventually come down the pike, this version looks definitive. Whatever possible changes they might make to her costume in the future, I just can't imagine them looking better than this one does. And probably, any future costume tweaks would be minor anyway. Add in the perfect Elizabeth Olsen headsculpt and this figure is the only Scarlet Witch I need.

The question now is, do I need Quicksilver? I found their relationship in AOU endearing.

Elizabeth Olsen was quoted that the outfit at the end of Avengers wasn't comfortable, functional and she could hardly move in it. I think that's the reason they changed her outfit, moreso than the Russo bros wanting to change it.

"The new costume represents a more functional costume than the end of the last movie, which I could only stand in," Elizabeth laughed to Total Film magazine. "And I obviously don't want to be in a leotard and headdress, so I'm happy with the full leather look."

Hard to pick between the 2 looks. I like the long coat on CW better but the New Avengers version looks more like a superhero costume. If they had made the New Avengers coat longer, I think we would've had a winner.

I'm just gonna get this one to collect. XD I so can't wait to get the CW version.


But anyone know if there are promo pics of this costume in the Art of Age of Ultron book? If anything I guess they could use concept art for the box. Didn't stop HT from using it for the Rescue Cap art.
