Man this figure has me so conflicted.

On the one hand it is basically the same costume as the Winter Soldier version. Not different enough to really warrant having both in my collection.

On the other it is such an upgrade in terms of likeness and proportions that it is clearly a better representation of the character. Hot Toys finally seems to be getting closer to capturing the female form without it looking like a stick figure.

I already bought a parted out sculpt for this figure but it looks too big on the slimmer Winter Soldier body. With 14 figures that I am currently planning on getting this year I can't just buy anything that I want. But this one just looks so cool.

I've owned all the BW figures at one point.

Sold off IM2 and A1 Widow and will just stick with TWS, AoU and CW as of now. IM2 was badly proportioned and though I really liked A1 Widow, I sold off the rest of my incomplete A1 collection (except Mk7) being that I already have the Avengers completely represented in AoU form, so she got sold with the rest of the A1 collection.

I have the entire TWS line so as it stands right now, I'm keeping my TWS Widow to keep that intact. And CW Widow is the best Widow thus far, so there's no question that's the one to be had.

Most impressive! I have all 5 Widows as well but didn't have the time and space to display them all!
I am really wishing HT to redo IM2 Black Widow with its latest female figure technology! How about capable of posing that famous squatting pose? I know it's near impossible with an outfit like that, but oh well...

I thought I was fine with my WS Widow, but I decided to pull the trigger on this one after seeing more photos.

The head sculpt is phenomenal. I wasn't expecting to be that impressed by it, but the expression they sculpted in is perfect:



I still prefer the (relatively) more practical hairstyle in WS, but there you go. However, I noticed that there's some black paint in between her lips. Is this common between head sculpts? The two I checked at the store had the same black paint. It's quite noticeable under some lighting conditions.

What actually sold me were the body proportions and the costume. I like the streamlined and tactical look of her suit, and in-hand, the subtle texture variations and shades of color "react" well to light. It's really impressive. While I do like the WS suit, it doesnt seem to fit as perfectly as the CW one.



I'm still bothered by the black paint in between the lips, though.

Redwense, that widescreen closeup is gorgeous!!

Lighting and surrounding color is so important you can just take these around the house and you've got a different figure in every room.

I absolutely love my A1 Widow, but next to anybody else wearing black, her suit looks almost navy blue.
I might've let a little sunlight hit her over the years but filtered through UV blocking windows, and it would only be on one side, and I'm pretty sure it looked that way out of the box.

Which brings me too ... anyone have a comparison shot like this one under brighter lights?

Well, looks like I'm getting her after all. Found an online shop that was piecing her out and managed to get an almost complete figure for about $150.

Honestly it was just a combination of Monkey Depot and Toy Anxiety, with a little help from Ebay. And I skipped on the accessories I knew I wouldn't touch. Getting the body and suit together for $60 helped a lot.

I've managed to get mine 190 shipped after a few weeks of watching ebay.

anyone have the HT AND the KO head sculpts? I'd like to see a comparison... (And no, I do not have time to search every page here).

I have a guy that has the outfit and gear for sale...so I was thinking maybe just picking up the KO head. I own three other HT BW's so, I supposed one partially KO one wouldnt be so bad...as long as the head looks good that is.
