Not much really. I added a bit of gel to try to help keep her hair how I wanted and cut a few loose hair strands.
The hair really does look great. I might have to do this to mine.

I just realized that unless she changes her hair color back in A4, which is unlikely (well, you never know), this version with long auburn hair, a good HS and a traditional black suit, may just have become the definitive Black Widow for traditionalists.

Just like the AOU Thor is probably now the definitive long-hair Thor...

Oh, thanks for that:gah:. I like the TWS Widow look but:

Not like I'm some comic art expert but *loosely* I like to give nods to the source material e.g. long term display. I JUST got TWS Falcon in and thought I was pretty well done w. TWS and CW figs for now.

Now I can't get that comment out of my head re all the comic book covers.:lol

I'm in the process of bulking up her weapon variety. I just got her the Winter Soldier rifle, the T-800 grenade launcher and a few other cool things...Hopefully I have time to put it all together...To get her to be armed to the teeth...hehe

Did get my Widow a black leather blazer and getting my figs - mainly Winter Soldier and BW - more weapons and diorama backgrounds. Need more time to work on stuff.

This figure has been out for a while now/most are over the "hype" of it's release. So I'm hoping someone will answer 100% honestly. The CW BW is the only BW I don't have. And the concensus is: Civil War version is the best of them all. Is this true? Does anyone have pics they're willing to share of all the BWs (preferably A1-CW), side by side for comparison before I bite the ebay bullet on it?!?!

There was a thread for the all Widow comparison:

You can read my comparison (sorry no pictures):

I kinda regret not getting her, but for ME it seemed like a lot of money for the head sculpt (kinda) when I liked her in TWS best. To me the TWS Widow portrait in hand is really cool. Still...I dunno, CW Widow is still one I sit on the fence for. If she were my fav female MCU character I'd definitely pick up CW Widow, but SW so far is my fav. Still.....:gah: I might get her after all, re the comment about the "comic look". If I can find one that isn't marked up.

There are better outfit versions, but the sculpt is hands down the best! And to me, the likeness is the most important piece.

And she doesn't have that dead stare problem all the others do.

So, I'd have the Winter Soldier body/suit with this sculpt, if Icould afford that.

The Civil War version was tempting but I just stuck with my WS version, her hair cut seemed very Russian to me for some reason, lol. Still the longer hair is a classic comic look, but I didn't think her hair on the CW version seemed as red or auburn enough, yea if has a slight hue, but over all seemed more brown than the others.

How much are original Hot Toys CW headsculpts going for these days? [emoji848]

Yeah. To me the TWS look was really sleek, exotic, deadly - and while I don't mind a lot of make-up on actors/actresses, depending, even ScarJo's screen makeup in TWS wasn't heavy on the eye black e.g. she had this very smooth, kinda elegant face - don't know how to say that right. IMO very pretty like in the car when she's talking to Cap or the shots when WS is about to shoot her *cough*.:monkey3

Definitely for CW the red hair had been toned down which I guess would have been more like her evolving character being more of a thinker and sort of stepping in to balance things.

Plus I know the TWS "dead stare" LOL but IMO in hand the TWS paint is really well done and I think really works for the character. So at the time I passed on CW Widow but re this thread maybe I'll pick her up sometime used or something:dunno. BW doesn't take a lot of space.

Re head sculpt prices - genuine HT marked up, of course:horror. Plenty of KOs cheap.:monkey3

The likeness is definitely the most important! After all, she is the only Team Iron Man member that doesn't have the face covered. (well, Vision doesn't either, but you get my point). The fact that they finally got rid of the blank stare was a huge leap forward. ScarJo has a blank stare every now and then, but to have a figure in that mode all the time makes posing and displaying her challenging at times. So doing away with that look is a huge plus! (Scarlet Witch still has the blank stare...I hope they fix that for IW...I can be enticed to purchase my 2nd SW...but that's a different topic...)

Just to show how good this HS is, people have used this HS for GITS mods and it still looks like her with sculpted black hair...

I just check evil bay and I don't see any genuine HS anymore, but plenty of knockoffs...

Can you show those GitS mods, please? I loved that movie.
